Manipal Institute of Technology, MAHE provides fun learning for students.
Placements: More than 90% of students get placed just through campus in my branch, and the remaining got it from outside or went for masters. The highest package is 43 LPA and the average package is 16 LPA. Microsoft is one of the top recruiting companies of our course. Around 20% of students got internships. Business or data analyst roles are offered to students.
Infrastructure: Facilities of MAHE are world-class. Labs have systems that can run a company if we have manpower. The food is good as it actually has options for all the people no matter where they come from in India. The mess serves 4 meals a day.
Faculty: The student-teacher ratio is very good. If we have interest then teachers can be like our big siblings throughout the whole college. The data science branch has subjects pertaining to statistics which plays a major role in the field. Exams are relatively easy but the frequency of exams is very high.
Other: Extracurricular activities are also amazing.

Very dissatisfied because the campus is hygienic.
Placements: Around 45% of students got placed in our course. The highest package was 7 lacs and the average package was 5 lacs and the lowest package was 4 lacs. Very few companies recruit in our college and few students also got internships.
Infrastructure: Washrooms and hostel rooms are very dirty and hygienic. No proper water supply or ventilation. Wi-Fi does not work properly. Classrooms and labs are average. The quality of food available in the mess and canteen is not tasty. Very limited medical and sports facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are not so qualified and skilled. The teaching quality is nice. All the faculty members and college staff are rude and unhelpful. Our course is not curriculum-relevant because the college does not conduct such types of activities. The semester exams are quite hard.

B.Tech in data science and engineering.
Placements: It's an emerging course and has plenty of opportunities in the field of non-core. Former graduates from this college got placed with an initial pay of 4 LPA during their placements after two to three years. They become a senior consultant with some salary hike which may be upto 7 LPA to 8 LPA.
Infrastructure: Its environment helps me to showcase my talent and find myself better than me. Parking areas are very much spacious which are used by students and teachers. Students also convey their thoughts on development of college infrastructure and their standards.
Faculty: Literally most of the students clear exams in 1st attempt itself. Course-oriented books are well-researched by teachers and they prepare keynotes for us to study. In such keynotes important points are covered, so studying them before the exams also made us clear.

Placements: I am in 1st year and it has a batch of 28 students. The highest package remains around 45 LPA in DSE and average package is 15 LPA. 100% placements are there, but many people pursue MS and other further studies so it lies in their hands whether they want the placement or not. All companies require data engineers, all of them are open to hire, and all companies visit Manipal.
Infrastructure: Facilities are top notch. Library is a 5 storey building with different floors for different purposes. Classrooms are big with centralized AC, projector, and a blackboard. Class strength remains between 80-120 students.
Hostel has all facilities, if you are ill, the mess delivers food to you rom, thanks to THE INDIAN KITCHEN. Menu gets revised every week, and the food quality is perfect.
Faculty: All teachers are Ph.D. holders in their respective subjects. They teach everything perfectly. Semester exams are tough, a relatively grading system is followed here. The pass percentage is not that good. Curriculum gets updated every 2 years. It makes the students industry ready. All students get internships, which get converted to PPO later.
Other: Data Science is a popular branch, because every company now need skilled data analyst and data engineers. But to be honest, data Science should not be a 4 year course to study. College hosts many flagship events including TECHTATVA, a hackathon, and REVELS, a cultural fest. Campus crowd is not much, it is a 300 acre campus alone. There are as much as 8000 people inside the campus at night, connectivity is good.

Manipal Institute of Technology Review.
Placements: My batch for data science and engineering was the first batch for this branch, so we were very scared for our placements. However, our placement cell and our placement director worked tirelessly to connect us with top companies. Additionally, they offered us various preparation courses and workshops, which helped us a lot to prepare ourselves for our dream companies. Fortunate, many students from my branch got placed in top companies like Microsoft, Wells Fargo, Goldman Sachs, Shell, etc. I can certainly say that the placements for my college are quite good and getting even better with each passing year.
Infrastructure: MIT's infrastructure is world-class. The campus is very well-maintained, clean, and hygienic, with lots of facilities such as a gym, swimming pool, huge library, food courts, basketball courts, hockey field, etc. Since MIT is a green campus, there is no pollution in and around campus, and a walk around the campus can certainly make you feel very fresh after a long and tiring day. We even have a rented bicycle facility inside the campus, which is very economical and fun too.
Faculty: As a scholarship holder for two years straight, I can say that the academic curriculum at MIT is strict but very helpful to increase our knowledge base and equip us with all the necessary tools and skills. I joined the university through the entrance exam, which was not very difficult if you are well prepared with basic concepts of the topics. Even our semester exams are sometimes tough, but if you have a very good grasp over the concepts and are well attentive in the classes, then you will never face any difficulties in the examinations. The faculty here is also not only well-qualified but very supportive and approachable. They are always ready to assist students with research opportunities or any innovative projects. Their guidance has been crucial for my growth here.
Other: The hostel facilities at MIT are very well- maintained, with lots of hostel options available to choose from. The hostel staff and wardens are very generous and caring. They take very good care of the students there. Additionally, our hostel are equipped with a gym, high-speed Wi-Fi connection, water coolers, air conditioning, etc. The campus life of MIT is one of the best in the world. You get exposure to so many different types of activities, whether it are academic or cultural. The annual technical and cultural festivals provide a great platform for students to showcase their talents and take a break from everyday class routine. Hence, I can proudly say that being a part of MIT has been a very fulfilling experience for me, which has filled me with learning, growth and unforgettable memories.

Placements: There are placements. If you do hard work and your CGPA is good, check the college website for the whole data. People have been placed in companies like Microsoft, Adobe, etc. The college will provide you internships in the 3rd year, and the average package is around 10-12 LPA for the computer department.
Infrastructure: Hostels are nice, neat, and clean. One disadvantage is that they are very far away from the academic blocks where classes happen, but there are buggies available for transportation. Mess food is okay as per hostel standards. You will get paneer at least 3 times a week, and some dessert is also available after every meal. All the messes are air-conditioned as well.
Faculty: The course curriculum is fine. The classes start from 8 a.m. and sometimes go till 4:30 p.m., but you will get a break in between. Check the syllabus on the official website for viewing the curriculum. The semester exams are difficult, but if you study one week before, you will pass them.
Other: The Fests are very nice and a lot of fun. Huge celebrities come every year to perform in the cultural fest Revel as well as the technical fest Teach Tetva. The campus is very well decorated during the fests.

Our college is worth the money paid.
Placements: Our college does not provide placements.
Infrastructure: Our college provides excellent facilities. The Wi-Fi speed is 10 Mbps. The infrastructure of our college is new. Hostels are good and very comfortable. Hostels provide us with mattresses. The food served in the hostel is good. Medical facilities are available outside our college.
Faculty: Our faculty members teach us very well. They are helpful. They provide us with all course materials in form of PDFs. Exams are difficult. Many students pass exams easily. They send us recordings of all offline classes, which is very helpful.
Other: I opted for this course because it is an interesting field. Our college has many clubs.

I am satisfied with the college, minor improvements, and this college can reach new heights.
Placements: My batch has still not reached the fourth year so I don't know enough about placements, but having heard from seniors, the placements are good. Almost the entire batch gets placed barring a few students. The highest salary packages touch 1 crore per annum, and the average salary package is good and is about 10 LPA to 12 LPA. That is all I've heard from seniors.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. The library is big. Wi-Fi could be a little faster but otherwise, no issues. The classrooms, library, and all academic blocks have air-conditioners. The hostels are well maintained and cleaned regularly. The quality of food served in the canteen/mess/food court is good but could be better. This place is amazing for sports with an additional indoor air-conditioned sports arena and also multiple open-air grounds for all sports including but not limited to cricket, football, tennis, basketball, etc. The medical facilities do take some time as the institute has its own hospital which is fully functional and is the biggest hospital in the area. Since it is so huge generally students with fever have to wait a little bit, but the service provided is up to the mark and free. Students get Rs.100000 free cover. Probably, a small clinic nearby could be more helpful.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are well qualified to teach their respective subjects. They explain well and help even after class hours in case students have doubts or need any kind of help. The course curriculum is updated yearly. It is more relevant and helps students become industry-ready. Though, like all other colleges, the curriculum could be a little bit more upto date. The semester exams are not so hard but if someone hasn't understood the subject, they might not do well in the exams. Around 75% of students pass all subjects and the remaining 25% of stuents fail in either one or multiple subjects.
Other: I chose data science as the scope in this field is increasing daily. It also allows me to take up artificial intelligence, machine learning, finance, etc. This keeps a wide variety of options open. The best thing about this course is its wide applications and how it is gaining demand as it can be used in every field. The course work is pretty good but could be a bit more modern and at par with the industry level. We have multiple amazing events yearly for all kinds of students and for all of their hobbies and interests. Campus crowd is really good. The surroundings are green and clean. Extracurricular activities are heavily promoted and equally awarded. Meritorious students are given concession from their fees in terms of scholarships as well.
