For admission to a two-year M.Tech course at MIT Manipal, there is minimum eligibility criteria that is required to fulfil by every aspirant. Candidates who passed graduation in a relevant branch of B.E. or BTech with minimum 50% aggregate from a recognised university are eligible to apply for this course. It's mandatory for all the aspirants to fulfil the eligibility requirement before applying for the course. MIT Manipal M.Tech admissions are completely based on the merit of candidates in the last qualifying exam of undergraduation and scores obtained in MET/ GATE entrance exam.

Manipal Institute of Technology accepts admission toM.Techthrough an entrance exam, i.e., Manipal Entrance Exam (MET) followed by counseling. This entrance is conducted in three phases. To apply for this course, candidates must fulfil the basic eligibilty criteria. Those who passed graduation in BTech with minimum 50% aggregate are eligible to apply for this course. Additionally, candidates whp applies via GATE score are given weightage than other candidates. The final selection toM.Techis done through the past academic performance and scores obtained in the respective entrance exam. At last, the selected students will be allocated seats as per the counselling process conducted at the institute. 

Admission to BTech MIT Manipal is based on a mandatory entrance test, i.e., Manipal Entrance Test MET followed by online/physical counselling sessions. This exam is conducted every year in 3 phases. Interested students need to qualify the exam with valid scores in order to get admission. The total fee for the BTech course ranges between  8.1 L & 13.5 L. In order to be eligible for the BTech course at Manipal Institute of Technology, students must have scored at least 45-50% aggregate in 12.
