Fully satisfied with Miranda.

Placements: I have a B.A. Programme course. I have Geography as my major and History as my minor. Most students don't go for placement offers. They are just preparing for competitive exams. We can get non-technical placements in a lot of companies, and it's pretty good.

Infrastructure: One of the best DU colleges in terms of infrastructure. However, our Wi-Fi issue is a problem. Plus, we don't have an air conditioning system in all classes. Canteen food is good, but hostel food isn't. Getting a hostel is so hard. But overall, Miranda offers the best infrastructure.

Faculty: All teachers are the best here. They teach according to exams and also focus on extracurricular activities. The course is so relevant. You can study two subjects at a time as a major and minor. Semester exams are difficult, but teachers help a lot. PYQs are a saviour in exams.

Other: I chose this course because I love to read Geography along with some minor subjects. The course is best, but we need more eligible placement opportunities and more recognition for the B.A. Programme. Plus, the timetable is hectic.

Miranda House is totally worth the hype.

Placements: The Geography department has a decent placement ratio. The History department does not provide placements. Seniors from my course get placed through the Geography department. The average package is 7 LPA. The highest package from my course goes up to 14 LPA.

Infrastructure: Miranda House has one of the best infrastructures among all the colleges in Delhi University. Facilities are top notch. Classrooms are well ventilated. They are spacious. Most of the classrooms have AC. The quality of food in the canteen is decent. There are three canteens in total. The hostel food is also good. It is hygienic.

Faculty: I am very satisfied with our faculty. They are very helpful and have Master's degrees in their subjects. The course curriculum is very relevant, especially that of Geography, while the History syllabus, according to me, needs to be updated. Semester exams are moderate in difficulty. The pass percentage is also very good.

Miranda House is a college where you will get so many opportunities.

Placements: Placement cell opportunities at Miranda House are good. The cell regularly shares information about internships and job opportunities among students. Companies like KPMG, ICICI Bank, Barclays, and ZS Associates come for placements at our college. They provide many opportunities to participate in activities.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure for the course is great. The library is fully air-conditioned and has a good collection of books. The canteen is very affordable for every type of student in the college. The food quality is great. The college provides good space for students to participate in sports and practice particular sports in the college.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, but it depends on how you behave in class and whether the teacher notices. We learn extra subjects as well, like SEC, VAC, and AEC. Semester exams are not too difficult. We can prepare by reading PYQs and the topics given by professors. Professors help in learning about new topics. They are helpful.

Other: The campus is great. The people here are very helpful. You will love this Miranda life. The fest of our college is the best. There are many scholarships for economically backward students. This college helps students in academics. There are many societies. Students can participate and learn many new things. The campus crowd is very helpful and interactive.

Miranda House: Best liberal arts and sciences college in India.

Placements: We have a dedicated placement cell. Also, the college offers great opportunities for part-time internships. We have a dedicated WhatsApp group where these messages are circulated. Networking is great in college. You will have ample opportunities if you look out for them.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is awesome, like completely awesome. Despite being a government institution, our college has the best infrastructure. It is super convenient. Everything works. Classrooms are great. There is an awesome library might be the best. It has everything you need.

Faculty: Faculty is good. The curriculum can be improved. As a History student, I feel that we have so much to study. Exams have repetitive questions but otherwise professors give different internal exams and assignments. Overall, it's great for self-study.

Other: It was my dream college. The best things are the trees and campus, and of course, the amazing library. It gives more hands-on practical knowledge of history writing. The crowd is cool. So many societies are there for every interest. Tempest is well known. Every society and department has its own fest.

Absolutely satisfied with my college.

Placements: The placement of the college is quite active and it provides us with diverse opportunities to explore. It also actively provides us with internship opportunities which help us build our CVs. The placement cell has its own portals which make the entire process smoother.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure quality of the college is good. There are many classrooms with ACs. The library of the college is also well-maintained and has proper seating areas. There are many DRC rooms in the college for the students. Overall the infrastructure is good.

Faculty: The faculty of the college is quite helpful. They take proper lectures and are quite knowledgeable. We are given enough time to ask questions and clear our doubts during the tutorial slots taken by the professors. The end-semester exams are not as difficult if you have studied well throughout the semester.

Miranda House, a place where the heart finds pace, grows, and the individual self grows.

Placements: There are a huge number of students who are enrolled each year in my course. Almost 80 percent of students in my course end up with placements in top companies in India like Aditya Birla, ICICI Bank, etc. The course offers a wide variety of knowledge and leadership role which helps us develop our personality and be future-ready.

Infrastructure: We have many rooms allotted for our study and classes. Our campus has Wi-Fi facility, labs, library, washrooms, and proper sanitation. We have seminar halls and smart board rooms which aid our studies. The rooms do not have ACs which makes it difficult to bear the summer heat but the college is working on it.

Faculty: Teachers are really knowledgeable and approachable too. The course prepares us well for our dream jobs and prepares us to excel in our chosen fields. Semester exams are good in level but our professors prepare us well for them. The overall process of studying and seeking guidance and preparation is really fun at Miranda House College.

Other: The overall experience is amazing. You get to live a full life in our college. Study, fest, and fun are there.

Great campus, infrastructure, and teachers.

Placements: From what I've seen, placements are decent, but they depend more on the student. I think the average package is around 5-7 LPA. The highest is around 10 LPA. The top recruiting companies for my college are Deloitte, Amazon, Reliance, and others, although I am not sure about my course. There are also internship opportunities in roles like HR, content writing, marketing, research, etc.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure in our college is good compared to other DU colleges. Most rooms have air conditioning, and a few have smart boards. The library is extensive and has books for all subjects. We also have a separate Science wing for those courses with proper scientific equipment. The hostel infrastructure is really good, except for a few Wi-Fi problems from time to time. The quality of food is reasonable when seen in relation to our fee structure. We have proper medical help available and also sports facilities.

Faculty: Teachers in my course have very extensive knowledge of their subjects. They are all highly qualified and teach really well. The course curriculum is relevant to our subject but can be improved a little to make it industry-ready. The semester exams in the college are moderately tough. They are not very hard but not very easy either. I am not sure of the pass percentage.

Other: I chose this course because I have a deep interest in History and Geography. The best part about my course is that it gives me a multidisciplinary lens to view subjects and correlate things with each other. My course can be improved with new styles of assessment instead of the same old assignments. The events in the college are pretty good and peaceful compared to other colleges. The campus is beautiful, with a lot of greenery. It is a great space. Our college also has a lot of societies and clubs, with something for everyone's interests.

Miranda House College review.

Placements: We are students of History and Geography, so we do not get many job opportunities from private companies. Students have to rely on government job vacancies or work for NGOs, etc. This does not mean that students are incapable of getting placements, but by creating a better portfolio, they can get hired.

Infrastructure: We have dedicated classrooms for the Geography department. They are well-equipped with modern instruments. The hostel has limited seats, and admission to the hostel is based on merit.

Faculty: We have excellent faculty. The B.A. programme department is very diverse. Professors from the Honors department come to teach us. They put in a lot of effort while teaching and try to teach beyond just the syllabus. We regularly go for museum visits too.

Other: It is the best the country has to offer for subjects like History and Geography.
