BDes stands for Bachelor of Design. It is an undergraduate course offered by MIT Institute of Design with a three years duration. Its a famous course in the field of designing. The institution offers eleven specialisation i.e. Graphic, Product, Transportation Design, etc. To get into the BDes programme canidate should be eligible for the programme and must passed the two phase admission procedure round: MIT DAT, personal interview and studio test.

Maharashtra Institute of Technology Institute of Design offers three years BDes programme across eleven specialisation. BDes is the flagship course of the Institution Candidates are required to appear in the MIT DAT (Design Aptitude Test) to get into BDes programme. There is no such provision for direct admission to any of the courses offered at MIT Institute of Design (MITID). Candidates interested in taking admission at MITID must take the institute’s entrance exam, i.e. Design Aptitude Test (DAT) on the basis of which candidates will be selected for the Studio test and Personal Interview (PI) rounds. On successful qualifying in both these rounds, candidates will be required to report to the admission cell at MITID for document verification and tuition fee payment for final seat allotment.

Yes, MIT Institute of Design (MITID) offers UG, PG, and PG Diploma courses in the field of design. At the UG level, the institute offers a three-year full-time Bachelor of Design (BDes) which is the flagship course of MITID. The BDes programme is offered across twelve specialisations. Also, the institute offers a Masters of Design (MDes) programme. MDes programme being a PG level programme is offered across fourteen specialisations.

Candidates seeking admission to the courses offered at MIT Institute of Design must take the Design Aptitude Test conducted by the institute based on which candidates will be shortlisted for the Studio test and Personal Interview (PI) rounds.
