The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) Delhi admits students to various undergraduate and postgraduate courses based on their NIFT entrance exam scores. As per the NIFT Delhi cutoff 2025, the Round 1 closing rank for the Bachelor of Design (B.Des) programme ranged between 54 and 800 for the students belonging to the General All India category. Among all the specialisations, B.Des. in Fashion Communication was the most competitive, with the lowest cutoff rank of 54. NIFT 2024 tentatively in the 1st week of November 2023. The application form will open online at niftadmissions. In. The National Institute of Fashion Technology will also release the detailed admission notification, including the eligibility criteria, at the time of release of the application form or sometime thereabout. Candidates who meet the precribed eligibility criteria for their programme can fill out the NIFT 2024 application form before the last date. Note that NIFT application form will be for admission to the B. Des, M.Des B.FTech M.FTech and MFM courses offered by participating colleges.

The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) releases the official schedule at - niftadmissions. The schedule includes the event-wise dates related to the NIFT 2025 entrance exam. The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) conducted the NIFT 2024 exam in two phases. The 1st phase included the written exams GAT and CAT.

The written exams was held on February 5, 2024. The scores of the written exam was used to shortlist c candidates for the 2nd phase, which will include a Situation Test (B. Des programme) or Personal Interview (PG courses).

The Situation Test was held on April 13, 2024, while the Personal Interview was conducted from April 1-6, 2024.

The fee structure is inclusive of different components, such as tuition fees, hostel fees, refundable security deposit, registration fee, etc. A few of these components are one-time chargeable, while some have to be paid annually or semester-wise. For NIFT Delhi B.Des admission, candidates must have passed Class 12 from any recognised Central/State Board of Secondary Examination, such as Central Board of Secondary Education/ State Board New Delhi/ Council for Indian School of Certificate Examination, New Delhi. A passing grade in the Senior Secondary School examination conducted by the National Open School with a minimum of five subjects is also eligible to apply for the National Institute of Fashion Technology Delhi. 

No, the admission criteria for the BDes programme is entrance-based. NIFT Delhi BDes course admission is granted based on applicants performance in the NIFT Entrance Exam. Candidates shortlisted based on exam score are called for the personal interview round followed counselling. The students looking for direct admissions are advised to contact the admission office.

The time before joining the college is exciting and full of doubts as well.
