Truth of NIT, Kurukshetra.
Placements: The placement percentage of college is very good. About 91% of CSE and overall it is about 80%. The highest package is about 50-60 LPA. The average salary for CSE is 19 LPA. The lowest salary is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Microsoft, Google, JP Morgen, and Morgan Stanley. All students get internships in CSE and companies are Microsoft, IBM, and Sun Pharma.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. There is a big sports complex where you can play various outdoor games like cricket, football, basketball, etc. The computer labs are also good. But some lab's computer generation is very old like 7 Gen. The library is open 24X7 for boys and for girls, it is till 8:30 PM. The facilities of the hostel are good. The food is also decent and you can go to the health center if you are ill and if you are not able to walk ambulance can also come.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching skill is also very good. You can contact them after college. The course curriculum is mostly relevant. It also makes students ready for industry. The difficulty of the semester exam is from medium to difficult. The passing percentage is about 95%.
Other: I chose CSE because it is the top branch of any engineering college. The good thing about this course is that it includes various practical things that help in real life. To improve the course they can remove subjects like engineering practice from the first semester because it does not help students to improve skills.

The placement status is really good as well as the infrastructure.
Placements: Almost 90% of the people are placed on campus, while some people go for off-campus placements. Many prepare for the GATE exam as well as for government exams. Top recruiting companies of the following Microsoft, Amazon, Oracle, Flipkart, Goldman Sachs, Hero, etc. The highest offer in our course is about 52 LPA, and the average is about 20 LPA. Almost every student gets an internship in the 6th semester, though some changes occur, and they get internships in the 8th semester.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good enough for education. There is lane availability in the hostel. Labs, classrooms, and the library are equipped with Wi-Fi. The poster quality is good enough. There is a common room with a carrom board, table tennis, volleyball court, and badminton court. The quality of food is good enough, but non-veg food is not available in the hostel campus due to district restrictions. There is good medical healthcare in our college with 24/7 facilities.
Faculty: There is a good student-teacher relationship on the campus. They are highly qualified and knowledgeable, and the teaching quality is good. This course curriculum is very relevant to the B.Tech and industry-ready curriculum. There is some difficulty in the semester exams at this college. You have to maintain 75% attendance, and there are two mid-semester exams and one end-semester exam.
Other: I choose this course here because I am getting Computer Science from here. You can prefer this college for Computer Science as it has much better placement in this course in the current days. I wish our course would be better if a little more coding culture is developed in our college. Elephant Fest is very good in this college, we can really enjoy the Confluence and many other events such as TechSpradha, Innokshetra, E-Summit, etc.

Top-notch placements, best academics, and average campus life.
Placements: Placements are quite good at NIT Kurukshetra. In computer engineering branch, around 80% of eligible students get placed every year. Overall, the percentage is around 65-70%. The highest package remains around 55 LPA every year from computer science branch. The lowest is around 7 LPA, and the average is 15 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Paytm, PhonePe, etc. Around 30-35% of students get internship opportunities every year.
Infrastructure: Hostel infrastructure is quite fine. But mess food quality is not so good. All general things like table, chair, almirah, Wi-Fi, LAN, etc., are available. Labs and classrooms are top-notch level in college. Sports facilities and equipments are also good. Medical health center is there where all general treatments are available.
Faculty: Faculty members are very knowledgeable and helpful in academics. Teachers are of top quality. Course curriculum is very relevant and it is updated regularly according to industry standards and company requirements. Exams level is kind of average. There are two mid-semester exams and one end-semester exam every semester.
Other: I chose this college and course as the placement standards are good. Things like night canteen and mess food can be improved in college. Fests are good. There is one big cultural fest named Confluence and other fests like Techspardha and Utkarsh are also held every year.

College life at NIT Kurukshetra.
Placements: My course is computer engineering and the duration of my college is 2023-26. I am currently in the third year, the placement starts at the end of 3rd year. Almost 80% of students from my branch got placements with some of the top recruiting companies like Accenture, Airtel, Microsoft, Hero, etc. The highest package depends on and changes every year. Last year, the highest package was 64 LPA. It was on campus. The average salary is around 15-16 LPA in my branch. The most offered roles are SDE, software development intern, web developer, analyst, and researcher. Internships mainly start in the 2nd year ending.
Infrastructure: The college has very good infrastructure. There are 10 hostels for boys and 4 for girls. There is greenery all over the place. There is a 24/7 library. It is not for girls. The girls' hostel time is 8:00 PM. There are free Wi-Fi and LAN facilities for students. Classrooms are also nice with air conditioners, fans, projectors, whiteboards, and comfortable spaces for everyone. The food quality of hostels depends on the hostel staff and mess staff. It is according to the menu prepared. Overall, the food is average but sometimes it is good.
Faculty: Subjects are divided into semesters according to the difficulty and requirements. There are mainly 5 subjects with one open elective but in the 1st year, subjects are the same for everyone. Teachers are highly qualified professors, assistant professors, and M.Tech students. They help you in your whole journey from classroom to placement. The college provides you with enough resources and knowledge that you can become industry-ready. Exams are divided into 2 mid-semesters of 15-20 marks and one end-semester of 50 marks. Overall, exams are of average difficulty. One can score good marks.
Other: I chose this course because I have been interested in technology stuff since childhood and had an interest in coding as well. The best thing about this course is that teachers are highly qualified and we can gain a lot of experience from them. Placements at my branch are very good. The only thing that can improve is the timetable. My classes are from 9 AM - 6 PM. There should be some transportation services in the college itself because the area of the college is very big. There are mainly 3-4 big fests in the college which are Confluence, Techsparda, and a sports event named E-Summit. The campus is very good and has every facility from a swimming pool to places to hangout for extracurricular. There are 2-3 places to visit like Bhramasarovar, Jyotisar, and a museum. The crowd is mostly in the evening. There are a lot of clubs and societies to join and make connections and friends.

Peaceful college, good environment, decent placement, better if the college was in a good city.
Placements: Currently, 60% of students from the Computer branch are placed, and the placement has improved from last year. For internships, it is even better, so possibly from next year, it will get better. The highest package is currently from Google, and the lowest is from Infosys. The average package is around 20 lakhs. Internships for our batch were not good; only some people got placed at MNCs, and most of them were girls who got off-campus placements. Most roles offered were for software developers.
Infrastructure: Hostel conditions are very bad. They are not renovated, and the washroom conditions are the worst. There is only one good hostel, but its food is bad, and one hostel has good food, but the toilets are very bad. Most of the time, the internet LAN doesn't work in the hostels, whereas the Wi-Fi on campus is superfast. The classrooms are in good condition, and AC works well in the summer. The library and reading rooms are great. There is a sports ground in the hostel, and for girls, many sports facilities are available. Not much for boys in the hostel, but they can go to the sports ground easily anytime.
Faculty: Teachers are quite qualified and very supportive. They understand students' needs properly, but the bad thing is that sometimes they ignore the doubts asked by students and just read PPTs. This is valid for only a few teachers, while others explain well. The course is good, and many things are taught apart from studies, which directly help with industry-level work or production-level code. Semester exams are quite tough, as there are two mid-sem exams and one end-sem exam.
Other: Coding was always my go-to thing, and the college was quite near my home. It is also one of the top colleges in the North. The college organizes the second-largest cultural fest in the North and also provides scholarships based on different criteria like academic excellence and sports. They are slowly removing some unnecessary subjects like Chemistry from branches like CS and IT.

A JEE Main score of 250 or higher is regarded as good and a JEE Mains score of 85-95 percentile is ideal for getting into NITs and IITs through the exam. Candidates must also be in the top 15,000 to 20,000 ranks to be accepted into the best NITs and IITs.
