NIT Raipur MSc Eligibility and Highlights 2025
NIT Raipur MSc is a two-year postgraduate degree course, divided into four semesters and offered in full-time mode. The basic eligibility criteria required by the institute to get admission into an MSc course is candidates must complete their Bachelor of Science with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as a subject. Additionally, candidates must have secured a minimum aggregate of 60% in their graduation (for general) and 55% for reserved categories. National Institute of Technology Raipur MSc courses are available in three disciplines- MSc in Mathematics, MSc in Physics and MSc in Chemistry.
NIT Raipur MSc admission is based on the scores candidates secured in the Joint Admission test for Masters (IIT JAM), followed by central counselling for MSc for NIT’s
(CCMN). Additionally, candidates must fulfil the medical standards required for admission as prescribed by MoE (GoI) from time to time. The institute also grants direct admission to foreign nationals, and Indian nationals residing abroad on the basis of policy guidelines laid down by the Ministry of Education, Govt. of India (MoE)/ Board of Governors (BoG) of the institute from time to time.
