NIT Raipur MCA Eligibility & Highlights 2025
NIT Raipur MCA is a three-year postgraduate degree course, divided into six semesters and offered in full-time mode. The basic eligibility criteria required by the institute to get admission into an MCA course is candidates must complete their Bachelor's degree preferably a BCA or any relevant degree from a recognised university/ Institute with a minimum aggregate of 60% (of all the years) or an equivalent CGPA of 6.5/ 10. In the case of SC/ST candidates, 55% aggregate marks (of all the years).
NIT Raipur MCA admission is based on candidates' scores achieved in NIMCET, followed by counselling. NIMCET or National Institute of Technology Master of Computer Applications Common Entrance Test is an exam conducted for admissions to MCA programmes. This entrance exam is conducted every year to offer admission into the Masters in Computer Application (MCA) Programme in participating NITs.
