There will not be de-reservation of unfilled seats at all. However, in Special Round-1 (SR-1) and Special Round-2 (SR-2), the unfilled seats, if any, in the Program Groups G2, G3, etc. will be converted into the lower numbered group in the same category. In a particular round (SR-1 and SR-2), first iteration of allotment will be carried out without conversion and then the subsequent iteration will be carried out with conversion of unfilled seats related as per the following rules.
The conversion of unfilled seats will occur among the programme groups viz. from Programme group G5 to G4, G4 to G3, G3 to G2, G2 to G1. (refer section 14 “Seat and Eligibility Matrix” about details of these groups) in the same category. Programme group G5 seats will be converted to G4 group only when G5 group candidates possessing the minimum eligibility criteria are not available for G5 group seats and so on for other groups.
Students can complete the CCMN 2026 registration process in multiple stages. It is not required to complete it in one go. Applicants must ensure that they save each section of the CCMN application form.

The CCMN 2026 registration fee can be paid using the ICICI Bank online mode (Net Banking/Debit Card/I-Sure Pay) or at any branch of ICICI through e-Challan. Applicants must note that the CCMN 2025 application fee is non-refundable.

The CCMN seats allotment for 2026 will be out in the second week of May 2026, tentatively. The first round of seat allotment will be released on First week of June 2026, tentatively. While the second and third round of allotment will be out in the firts week of July 2026, tentatively.
Once a seat is allotted in CCMN counselling to the students, they need to deposit INR 15,000/- (for GEN/OBC/GEN-EWS) and INR 10,000/- (for SC/ST/PwD) towards Seat Acceptance Fee (SAF).
After this applicants need to upload the required documents and submit their willingness as per the procedure.
This SAF amount will later be adjusted in the total fee to be deposited for the allotted institute.
