The college is absolutely satisfying and well-managed.
Placements: The percentage of students who got placed is quite good, and the highest package offered is 12 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA. The top recruiting companies are TCS and Wipro. The percentage of students who got internships is approximately equal to the number of students who got placed. The top roles offered are sales, development, and intern.
Infrastructure: The facilities provided by the college are good, including advanced technology computer labs and a library with books for all relevant subjects for the course you have chosen. The quality of facilities in the hostel and food quality is also awesome. The canteen and medical facilities are available as well.
Faculty: Teachers on the campus are very helpful, well-qualified, knowledgeable, and the quality of their teaching is also very motivating and understandable. The course curriculum does not make students industry-ready, but the college provides industrial trips for the students to make them industry-ready. The semester exams are easy to pass.
Other: The purpose of choosing this course is due to the advanced technology coming in the world, where technical skills are far more valuable than non-technical courses.

My experience in OIST, Bhopal.
Placements: There is no great placement record of our college. There are some well-recognised companies coming to our campus every year, but they only recruit 5%-10% of the total students of one batch. Which is pretty unfair, to be honest. The mass recruiters such as TCS do hire most of us.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of this institution is very old-fashioned, they need some serious construction and renovation on campus. There are not any special facilities that we the hostel recidencial brag about. Rooms are pretty conjusted a not very well organised.
Faculty: Our course curriculum is moderate. One issue is that there are too many assignments per subject and not-so-great teachers. We got all those unnecessary engineering subjects that every first-year students deals with in every college which is very irrelevant.
Other: I chose AIML which is one of the specialisation in CS branch. I think that they need an improvement in the CS curriculum. They need some better labs and computers to work with.

Placements: College offers decent placement opportunities with around 60-65% of students placed annually. Highest package reaches 12 LPA, lowest is 2.5 LPA, and average stands at 4.5 LPA. Top recruiters include TCS, Capgemini, Cognizant, and HCL, providing diverse career options.
Infrastructure: College has good infrastructure with well-equipped labs, each offering Wi-Fi access (limited to labs). Hostel provides Wi-Fi on every floor, ensuring connectivity for students. However, while the facilities are commendable, the quality of hostel food needs improvement.
Faculty: Faculty is average, with teaching quality being okay but not exceptional. Course curriculum is relevant to the branch, with specialized subjects starting from the 2nd year, helping students gain branch-specific knowledge and practical understanding.

Placements: OIST's placement percentage for the Computer Science branch is between 60% and 70%. Only students who are good at coding and have a good CGPA get placed. The top recruiters are Tata Consultancy Services, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Cognizant, and Accenture.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities at OIST are adequate, but not great. There is no wifi in the classrooms, and the cameras are always on. The library is very good, with a wide selection of books. The hostel facilities are not good, and the food quality is very poor. The tea is like sugarcane juice.
Faculty: The faculty were nice, but only to those who had good attendance. If our attendance were low, we were not eligible for the mid-semester exam. If our attendance was below 50%, we were not eligible for the second mid-semester exam, which could affect your internal grades. The difficulty level was easy, and the course was well-organized.
Other: I liked the college because they frequently conducted events like TEDx and college fests. They also invited good guest speakers.
