Review of Prince Shri Venkateshwara Padmavathy Engineering College.
Placements: 75% of students from our course get placed. The lowest package offered is 3 LPA, and the highest package offered is 25 LPA. Companies like Tessolve, Data Patterns, TCS, and Infinite Computer Solutions hire students. 89% of students got internships in Companies like Vaanmegam Network, TCS, CTS, and Zoho. Top roles offered are network engineer, web developer, and junior support engineer.
Infrastructure: The campus has high-speed Wi-Fi with super infrastructure. Libraries have many books of all categories. Laboratories have cutting-edge technology and tools. The quality of food provided in the hostel is good, but improvements are needed. Sports block has a lot of sports and things with medical support. The playground is big enough to play various games like cricket, football, etc.
Faculty: Teachers are super friendly, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. Their way of teaching is super. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. The college has exams and events to make students industry-ready. Semester exams are a bit easier. The pass percentage is 98%.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in electronics. It should provide more industrial training courses. Cultural and sports days organised here are superb.

College is very old-fashioned and the worst.
Placements: 80% of students got placed from my course, and it is divided into separate classes by average and bright students. They give more importance to bright students. Students gets placed in companies like Cognizant and Movate, only some amount of students gets internships.
Infrastructure: Hostel students describe their hostel life as bad. They find insects in their hostel food. Hostel food is very bad in price. Most students won't even eat. You can go and come whenever you want from hostel. Hostel facility is very poor. It is very bad.
Faculty: Some teachers are helpful, and some will spoon-feed you. Some teachers are full of themselves and they put arrears to students purposely. Course curriculum is relevant, but students did not gain or are gaining knowledge in the industry. It is kind of hard to pass the semester.

The college is getting nicer every year.
Placements: Placements are increasing every year, and ECE department students are securing placements mostly. In placements, most ECE department students get selected very easily due to the placement coaching provided by the college, which makes it easy to land a position in nice companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is nice, and the hostel is decent, but the food is not that good. The sports facilities are very good, and the department conducts events every year, leading us to zonal competitions. It is very useful and enjoyable to play all the games, and the ground is also nice.
Faculty: The faculty members are very friendly, and the teaching is excellent. The instruction is more focused on practical applications rather than theory, making it easy to understand and apply in real life. The semester exams are moderate in difficulty, and the pass percentage for this college is satisfactory.

My college life - The teachers are well trained.
Placements: Many companies visited my college, including MNCs, Wipro, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, and Accenture. The teachers give training to students three months prior to get better placements. The highest package is 2 lakhs per year. 95% of students were placed in the top companies.
Infrastructure: For my subject, there are 3 staff members. For each subject, one staff member will teach, and another two will inspect us. Lab fees are around 6500, and the breakage fee is around 500. The hostel fee is 90,000, and the quality of food is also very hygienic. They provide the food on time.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified staff. They teach very well. They do not ask repeated questions on the exams; they ask twisted questions. In my college, the pass percentage is 45. The teachers train the students well. In my college, the students do not fail exams because the teachers give them training.
Other: I chose this college because I can go into both software and hardware. I have to improve my coding skills to get better placements in a software company.

Quite disappointed by the college curriculum and placements, wish they develop it soon.
Placements: The placements in the college are very average. I'm from the 2020-2024 batch and we hardly had 4 companies on campus and around 8 off-campus placements. Most of the companies that came for placement offered around 2.5 to 3 LPA, and the top company that came for placement was Accenture. Around 25 female candidates were placed.
Infrastructure: Labs are pretty decent but not enough equipment. Hostels are available for boys and girls separately, but the food is mediocre. There's a big ground in college, but it's used only once or twice a year for sports events; the rest of the time, it's used as a parking lot for college buses.
Faculty: Since the college is now autonomous, the curriculum has changed and it's better now. Exams are really easy, but the college focuses more on theoretical classes over practical ones. Staff focus only on completing the syllabus, so the students never really get to gain interest in the syllabus.
Other: Though the college was average during my batch, it has really developed after 2024. The curriculum has changed, and many extracurricular activities have been initiated.

It is a good college to study. The atmosphere is also good here.
Placements: About 50-60% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered in our course was 14 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 4 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Infosys, TCS, IBM, Cognizant, Wipro, Sutherland, Hexaware, Aspire System, Codemantra and Firstsource visit our campus for placements. Tier 2 and tier 3 level companies visit our campus for placements.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi facility in the college. Classrooms have fans, metal desks for writing and sitting and good air circulation. In the library, the atmosphere is good, and it has a variety of books. The food served in a mess and canteen is average. Sports and games are average in college. Facilities for other activities are average, but studies are good here.
Faculty: The pass percentage in all semesters is above 90%, and all the department results are the same. Our college is good for studies. Faculty members will make us prepare well for semester exams. They will conduct different class tests. Teachers are good and well knowledgeable. They will help us if needed.
Other: Scholarships are available for students. Our college conducts extracurricular activities, and the campus crowd is average. I have chosen this course because, in our course, we can choose multiple fields in software and hardware fields.

Our college gives priority to education than socialize and cultural things of students.
Placements: I pursued B.E in ECE here. About 63% of the students from our batch got placed through campus interviews. The lowest salary package offered was about 1.32 LPA, while the average salary package offered was about 2.16 LPA. The highest salary package offered was about 3 LPA. Tata Consultancy Services, Flextronics, etc., were some of the top recruiters for our college. The top role offered is assistant ER or executive.
Infrastructure: I came to know that Wi-Fi routers were installed after our tenure at our college. All the facilities here were well and good enough for students. Mostly, our college doesn't give much importance to sports and even for sports quota students. The quality of the food served here is above average. Medical facilities are not sufficiently available here as our college is located in the remote area.
Faculty: Staff members and professors here were well qualified and are good at using proper teaching methods to make every student study. If any student has a good knowledge of electronics (our course), they can get a job as the scope for jobs is huge for electronics. I suggest you to pursue some additional small courses during your tenure only.
Other: Students of the opposite gender should not interact without taking permission or in the presence of staff members.

Its developing now and the teaching is improving nowdays .
Placements: Only mimimum percent were only placed in my department maybe less than 10 percent and the highest package if offered about 7 LPA and the lowest maybe 2 LPA. I think kaar technologies,24ai are the top recuritres. Internship is offered to maximum no of students.
Infrastructure: Facilities in the college are above average infrastructure want to better. All the classes are Wi-Fi enabled but no one will get internet classrooms will good in only main block and library will good enough. Canteen is okay. Food quality is good and price is cheaper but not clean.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, they are good in their qualification and enough knowledgeable and the teaching quality is okay beacuse it their by the courses. And especially ECE department having seperate GATE coaching so their are training for competitive exams too.
