It is an autonomous institution. Faculty members are good.

Placements: Around 85% students placed. The highest package last year was 8lakhs/year and the lowest package was 2.4 Lacs/year. Jasmin information tech pvt limited is the top recruiting company. Around 65% students got internships.

Infrastructure: Hostel has more than 50+ rooms for boys and girls. Hostels are also separate with 40+ rooms available. 24 hours Wi-Fi is available. Library is in a wide area which contains more than 7000+ books for students. Quality of rooms is well. Quality of food is well prepared.

Faculty: Teachers are well experienced and trained. Staff is very knowledgeable and supportive for the students. They give personal training to each and every student to overcome doubts. Pass percentage for ECE department is around 95%.

I am happy that I joined this college, and it is really good.

Placements: Last year, 80%+ students got placed. The college is still developing. Top companies like TCS, Wipro, etc., come here. Industrial visits are organised to TVs etc. Unlike school life, we don't have many limitations in college life, and it is up to us how we want to spend our college life.

Infrastructure: The food is good in the canteen but somewhat expensive. Otherwise, it is neat and clean. They treat us well. We love to study in this college. College life exposes us to a new environment, where we have to learn new things and face new challenges by ourselves. We spend half of our young lives in school, and thus, we get comfortable living in that environment.

Faculty: The exams are tough, but with the help of teachers, you can clear the exams. College life is one of the most remarkable and lovable times of an individual's life. Unlike school life, college life has a different experience, and a person needs to have this experience in his/her life.

Other: Many events are conducted in our college. Students from many colleges can participate here. Clubs like Rotaract, etc., conduct many events.

The short and sweet review about JCE.

Placements: There was a decent rate of placement. There is a seperate desk for placement and placement regarded queries which helped students to get placed. Faculty members were appointed for coaching students on various placement training programs to help them get placed easily.

Infrastructure: Comparing to all other colleges, infrastructure is small. The library of the college is good, with all the books which are essential and are available too! College canteen is not too big, and food can be rated as average. Labs are well-equipped with required instruments for better learning.

Faculty: All the faculty members are friendly and available for students, so that students can get cleared of their doubts or concerns regarding education. Regular IV's are conducted to keep students updated on industrial education. Regular assessments are conducted to test the students on their subject knowledge.

Other: Cultural events are conducted once in a year to give opportunity to students for establishing their talents. Sports and other extra curricular activities are well supported.

If you value knowledge gain than just a degree, I would suggest you to not choose this college.

Placements: The placements in the college are not really good. Almost everyone can get a BPO job in the end. Other than that, the decent companies which come are very few. It's either companies like Tech Mahindra and Capgemini which take for a 25k package and other BPOs. I would say the placement department is very poor.

Infrastructure: It's a very small campus as compared to other college but the lab and classroom facilities are decent. We have free Wi-Fi too. One main advantage is that it is inside the city (that could be the reason why it's small), so you don't really have to waste on travelling. Hostel rooms are not that great neither is the canteen food.

Faculty: Faculty members in the electronics department have decent knowledge and are experienced. The call comes under Anna university affiliation, so they follow the same curriculum. The methods adopted are very bad actually. They give you a question bank and ask to read from that. The college really doesn't focus on knowledge gaining. Rather, all they want is results in university exams.

Other: The peer group here is mostly students who would have no aim in their academic career. It will be really hard to find a person with good intellect and knowledge. The college doesn't have any active clubs or EDcell or any other co-curricular active participation.

Other: The college is one of the best in education. College has better infrastructure and need to improve in canteen facility. It has been filled with 2500 students who were pursuing UG and PG courses. The faculty were just awesome, well experienced and guide through our career. Ragging has been prohibited as there were committee members to look over it. The placement were quite good with recruit of top companies in India.
