Dissatisfies with placements of our college in 2023. The infrastructure is good.
Placements: The placements in our core is average. It's about 3-4LPA in core companies even in IT companies its about 6-7LPA. Neither Ericssons nor Nokia or any other telecom companies came to our college. Embedded Systems, Network Engineer, Telecom Engineer, Radio Frequency Engineer are the roles offered by the course. Placements in other college core have an average of 15-20LPA. So the placements is average over here.
Infrastructure: Every student have an access to college Wi-Fi which is 2GB for day scholars and 10 GB for hostelling. Library is equipped with digital library and have access to IEEE papers and journals of scientific communities. The quality of hostel is average. The campus provides only veh food. So the hostel inside campus do the same. Freshers block feels is 93k per year. 2nd year students and onwards it depends on block. Arybhatta block os the oldest and the cheapest. Its 72k per year and rooms look like jails with mental door. MSR gokul provides non veg and the feels is 1.25 Lacs per year. Its outside the campus. Canteen is average, have seen a couple os mice running around. So the hygiene is not good. I'm not satisfied with this campus at all.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified with the course they're providing. The curriculum is not at par with industry standards. Its very old. Even practical labs are very old. If you want to be industry ready, they dint provide with the knowledge they give. Analog circuit design is the toughest subject and thr most important one. The oass percentage in core subjects is average around 40 percent.
Other: Since 2019 udbhav hasn't been conducted. This year it was going to he conducted but " due to unforeseen circumstances" they didnt conduct. Theatrix is another event where different clubs showcase their drama skills. There are different curriculum and extra curriculum clubs. Overall the social life is great in our college.

I am satisfied studying here, but now I only want to get the best placements.
Placements: The placements are good in this college. If students are hardworking, then this college provides them with a lot of opportunities. Apple visits our campus to hire students. The previous year, a student had been given a 37 LPA package by Apple. Placements in branches like CSE, ECE, etc, are good.
Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure is good, it has the best laboratories, grounds, and classrooms. If students will include the medical and law campus as well then it can compete with any top-notch government colleges. The hostel facility is great i.e MSR Gokul hostel.
Faculty: The curriculum is revised and designed according to the NEP new scheme. Proctor is provided for every student, students can discuss any problems with their proctor. Teachers are the best here, and the newly revised course has less written learning. It is more focused on understanding the concept.

I am satisfied with this college because of its good opportunity in the core branch.
Placements: In our department, almost all students get placed in good companies which visit campus. The highest salary package offered is 25 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered ranges from 5 LPA - 6 LPA. Nvidia, TI, and most software companies visit to hire students. One thing many will apply for the SDE role, and very less will pursue in the core. So, many will get into the IT sector.
Infrastructure: If students want to get practical knowledge then prefer not to join this college. They have the worst facilities for laboratories. The canteen is good do not expect good sports culture. Hostel food is average, and the hostels' rooms are good depends which hostels students get allocated. Total 3 hostels i.e for freshers, second is for Aryabhata, and third is for PG hostel.
Faculty: Faculty members are good, but academics are average. Teachers are qualified but not from good universities. The pass percentage is 40%. Semester end will be easy, and students can easily prepare within 1 week.
Other: I would recommend if students do not have any option then join this college other than that they can join MIT, BMSCE, and RVCE.

A college with good placements and infrastructure, but the faculty are average.
Placements: The total number of jobs offered were less in our batch, but the quality of job offers was very good when compared to the previous batch. A lot of good companies like Mckinsey, BCG, Salesforce, etc., visited the college for placements. The roles offered varied from consulting, analytics, and core jobs in respective fields. Around 60% of them have got internships, and the average stipend offered is around Rs. 15,000 per month.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi facility provided by the college is excellent, and every student has a separate login. The classrooms are clean. The libraries are spacious, and all the books needed for academics can be borrowed. Ramaiah has its own hospital, so there is no worry about the medical facilities. The outdoor sports playground is a little away from the campus. We have basketball, badminton, tennis, TT, etc. facilities on the campus itself and they are well maintained.
Faculty: I cannot generalise regarding teachers, but all of them are qualified. They are very helpful, but they are lazy. The quality of teaching is above average. Every student has a mentor. The faculty to student ratio would be around 1:10. The course curriculum is updated and is up to the industry standards. We did get industry exposure.

Excellent Extracurriculars, great teacher student interaction, great placements.
Placements: Placements are excellent for the IT sector. Good companies, work environments and positions, however, the placements for core and non-IT branches are a little sparse. The highest package in Telecommunication Department was 25 LPA by Ola, and the least may be 4.2 LPA. About 95% of the students were placed over all.
Infrastructure: The Labs and Classrooms are clean and equipped with the required things in good condition, such as projectors, curtains, apparatus, equipment etc. The classrooms are clean and well lit with enough light and ventilation. The Faculty quality in terms of teaching, liberal approach and creativity depends on the department and individual faculty. The campus has several canteens with good quality, reasonably priced food. There is a policy that doesn't permit the sale of any non vegetarian food within the premisis. There are several hostels and PGs available around college is a range of pricing. Ragging is strictly prohibited on and off campus and any complaints regarding the same are delt with severe consequence.
Faculty: In the telecommunication department the faculty were very qualified and creative. The syllabus is the most industry specific syllabus among 14 branches. The department is supportive of industrial or inter departmental projects, extracurriculars, medical leave, internships and so on.
Other: The crowd on campus is very diverse. People speak 2-3 languages on campus but instructions and academia is in English only. There is a Department of Extra Curriculars which is very recognised. The college assigns 2 credits out of 200 over the 4 years to extra curriculars which gives students the agency to explore and indulge in activities off books.

Yes, you can. You can get into the college either by passing Jee Mains, Comedk or by KCET but you need to have a good rank and since your rank is around 15000 you may get. It's one of the best college in Karnataka. All the best!

Hi Divya, I have been to COMEDK counselling last year and I had a rank of 900. I can tell you about the first round and you can roughly estimate for further rounds. So yes, in first round you should have an under 1500 rank for Ramaiah CSE because CSE is a good branch. I had taken RVCE electronics in

According to me, the course is good and placement opportunities are good. If you have little background in electronics in your PUC is enough. Mainly if you are interested in networking and communication fields, you can succeed.
