Overall, a good college with good facilities and excellent placement, but unsatisfactory teaching.
Placements: For the last three years, everyone who has studied B.Tech. in Marine Engineering has got placements with the exception of students with backlogs, so if we have cleared all our exams and passed them, we will most probably get placed. It is a confirmed placement, so if we have no backlogs, then packages offered are for the position of cadets or 5th engineer in ships. Almost all packages are identical since everyone is getting a job in the same field and position, and the average salary offered is Rs. 50,000 per month. Companies that recruit students from our colleges include Synergy, M.Sc. Feet.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi, but facilities are satisfactory. There are three people in each room, and each room contains three fans, 3 beds, three study tables 3 wardrobes, and the room is not congested. The food has variety, and the quality of the food is not compromised. The taste is good, and the quantity is more than enough to make our stomachs full. Bathrooms are cleaned every day except on Saturday, and rooms are cleaned every three days by the cleaning staff members. Food is hygienic and tasty, and the entertainment facilities are okay.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. Some of them are not interested in teaching, and they are not regular in attending class, and some of them act as if they have personal grudges against students and behave based on it. But most of the faculty members are good enough.
Other: My course offers high-paying jobs and opportunities to travel and explore the world, so I chose it. My campus is very big and spacious. My college offers many varieties of courses. Students from all around India and even the world attend my college. Many programs are being held, so there is a good campus life.

I am absolutely satisfied with the faculty and infrastructure.
Placements: For the past two years, our college has achieved 100% placement. All cadets are recruited by top companies like Synergy Maersk Fleet, Scorpio, and Seven Island. Our course offers jobs as Marine Engineers on ships. 50% of the seats available are reserved for girl cadets.
Infrastructure: We have hostels for both boys and girls. The classroom infrastructure includes projectors, boards, etc. Labs like the fire lab and simulation lab are provided within the campus. The library, with syllabus-based books, is available to students for free. The mess is also available.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified, and some teachers, who are marine engineers, teach marine-related topics. The semester exams are moderately difficult. If we have good internal marks, we can pass the semester exams. If we have 26 internal marks, we only need to score 24 marks to pass the semester exams.
Other: The university provides grounds for various sports, including basketball courts, cricket grounds, and a football ground. Various programs are also held in the university.

We had a good placement in last year of hundred percent and good infrastructure and facilities .
Placements: Marine engineering is a course that must be pursued with hard work and passion. The course contains many core marine mechanical and electrical subjects. I am now in the 4th semester batch where many labs and core subjects are taught and practiced. It is very useful, and top companies such as Fleet Management, Synergy, etc., are hiring students for jobs.
Infrastructure: Our college has great infrastructure and hostels. It is spacious with enough room for everything to be done freely. Hostels have clean rooms and toilets with a good environment around. It is quiet. There are enough facilities for students to enroll in extracurricular activities.
Faculty: Faculty members are friendly and really helpful. They teach well and help us to rise above our level, guiding us to become good marine engineers. Exams are conducted every semester, with each semester having main exams and two internal exams to determine internals.

Really good infrastructure and teachers are also good. But they should have mental health.
Placements: Till now, there have been 100% placements for girls. Also, 90% of boys are placed in reputed companies. The main companies are Maersk, Seaspan, Feet, and Sima. An average package of INR 50,000 is given by most companies. In the last few years, 95% of people have been placed in this college.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities and food are above average. Also, washing machines, two-day uniform laundry play area, recreation space, and active sports wardens are available in the hostel. Also, strict room layouts should be maintained every time.
Faculty: All teachers are well qualified and the 7th semester is on campus. has the latest syllabus for the 2019 scheme. Easy to learn. Mainly about the engine side of the ship and machinery in the engine room. Faculty members are from the field itself which makes it way more interesting to learn.
Other: It is a compulsory residential course. And have a holiday on public holidays and Sunday only.

Our college provides excellent placements, good infrastructure, and campus life.
Placements: Around 100% of placements were provided the previous year. Campus placements for this course are great. The highest salary package offered was 4 LPA which would result in a whopping amount of 58.7 LPA when you become a chief engineer. The lowest salary package offered was 1.2 LPA and the average salary package is around 2.6 LPA. Major recruiting companies are MOL, Synergy Marine Group, Maersk Line, and Fleet Management Limited. The roles offered will be trainee onboard and by writing MMD exams you can get promoted.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are properly ventilated. There is a big library with great facilities. There is a 400 m ground, two basketball courts, 2 volleyball courts, two cricket nets facility, etc. Hostel facility is great where restrooms and rooms are cleaned regularly by cleaning staff. Girls hostel is 1.2 km far from the college, boys hostel is within a radius of 250 m. Food provided by the mess is of average quality. Medical facilities are available free for a university student from 4 to 6 pm at the amenity building. Many reputed private and government hospitals are nearby.
Faculty: Most of the faculty are not permanent and are on a contract basis. Teaching method is average. They have adequate knowledge and qualification. The course is residential and it prepares you to face challenges. Semester exams are not that tough but the series exams are hard. The pass percentage is around 80 to 85%.
Other: Techfest named Propulzo is organised by the Marine Engineering department and is one of the biggest in South India. Campus atmosphere is highly rated with a lovers park, CUSAT cafe, Milma pit, CUSAT restaurant, and Usmans shop are the main get-together spots on campus.
