Really good infrastructure. Civil engineering department facilities are amazing.
Placements: Students from my branch, 10 were placed out of 40. The highest package was 10 LPA for my civil branch. Prestige company came this year, 2024. This year, students applied for abroad internships like Singapore and Taiwan. We have tie-ups with abroad colleges too.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is really good, and classrooms are very nice and spacious. The library has all the books and textbooks related to civil engineering. Facilities are very well educated; almost all of them are Ph.D. holders and have good knowledge about all civil subjects.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful; they'll guide us and make us understand. Almost all teachers are Ph.D. holders. Teaching quality is 10/10. Semester exams are mid and end-term exams. Out of 200 marks, we need to get 80 to pass. Mid-term is for 50, CA is 50, and the final is 100.
Other: I choose this branch because I like it and I'm interested in all these buildings, how they're constructed, and sustainable buildings. Many events happen in our college. Crowd is waste. Campus is little far from the city, but the surroundings are beautiful, covered with greenery.

University provides interdisciplinary learning and outcome-based education.
Placements: Placements start in 7th semester, and core branch placements take place at end. I am currently in my 7th semester, and placements for my branch have not yet started. Our college also provides a wide range of opportunities for students to do internships or semester exchanges in foreign countries.
Infrastructure: Student Wi-Fi is available for all students, and infrastructure is very good. There are also many canteens and eateries on campus, making it convenient for students and faculty. Additionally, there are facilities like a gym, game room, and sports area.
Faculty: Faculty members in my department are amazing, very friendly, and approachable. I believe course curriculum is relevant; however, as a civil engineer in the making, I think it is important to have more practical and industrial knowledge, which is not adequately provided. Semester exams are easy to pass.
Other: One of the best benefits of civil engineering the impact it has on day-to-day lives of people. Importance of civil engineering can be summed up in one reason: making the world an easier and safer place to live. Without civil engineers, we would not have safe homes, cohesive road systems, or hospitals.

They have good placements.
Placements: They are providing good placements. Students with good CGPA, like above 8, are getting good placements for 7 to 8 LPA. They will train for the placement and how to approach the interviews and how to be confident. They provide mock interviews and develop our skills.
Infrastructure: They provide good facilities, proper lab facilities, a good connection of Wi-Fi, developed classrooms with projectors, and the library provides good facilities and required books. They have kept the college really clean and have proper washrooms. They provide proper food inside the campus.
Faculty: Faculty members are really friendly and motivate us for all studies, sports, and cultures. They give us the right knowledge and guidance for the future and provide good support. They provide the proper curriculum and proper notes before exams. A week before, they announce the exam schedule so we can prepare properly.

I am satisfied with this college.
Placements: Around 90% of students are placed at our college with CGPA 6 above. The top recruiters like Infosys, Wipro, Shell, and Prestige visit to hire students. Almost 100% of students get internships, because it is mandatory for students.
Infrastructure: In this college, Wi-Fi is enabled on campus, where students get connected to campus effectively. Our canteen provides good, best quality food which is worth its price. Laboratories are highly equipped with higher standards. Sports and games are parallelly encouraged as of studies.
Faculty: Faculty members are best, who are from IITs and NITs. They are very friendly. Quality of teaching is worth and effective. The course makes industry-ready. The difficulty is related to students' performance, and students have a 75% of pass percentage. Overall exams are conducted strictly.
Other: Students have MOUs with foreign institutions, and have covid precaution campus.

Q:   Is there enough demand for BTech graduates in the job market?
ShikshaGPT says
A:

If we look at the market demand, no doubt there is huge demand for BTech (Full Form: Bachelor of Technology) graduates among top recruiters who are constantly looking for skilled and knowledgeable students with fresh ideas to enhance their business growth and profitability.

Having said that, a few previous-year employment reports published by the Business Standard and Times of India suggest that students found it a struggle to land a high-paying job after completing BTech because of a lack of industry-specific skills and knowledge and cut-throat competition between Lacs of engineering students hunting for a job.

Hence, it is very important for students to focus on enhancing their skill set according to industrial demands and technological advancements, stay updated regarding all industry trends, build good networks and, most importantly, take up internships to gain experience and stand out in front of the employer.
