It is one of the best emerging colleges in India. I hope it will become one of the best in India.
Placements: Our students got placed with good salaries in good companies like Shell. Students get an internship in a lot of good companies like ONGC, etc. Most of the students get placed every year.
Infrastructure: The college provides a very good laboratory that can match up to a world-class level. All the departments have their separate laboratories in the respective blocks. There is a medical room in case of emergency. There are nice courts to play in. The college provides very good canteen.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very well trained and qualified for their profession. They are IIT professional faculty members. They are super interactive with the students. The course curriculum is very helpful to our industry practices. There are a lot of well-trained faculty members.

Our college has a really very good infrastructure and excellent staff members.
Placements: Initially, I don't know much about the petroleum course, but after I joined in this college, I had learnt a lot of things about this course. I am studying 2nd year, and our seniors got placed recently in one of the top companies named Shell India. Out of 68 students, about 14 students got placed through campus placements in companies, which visited our college recently.
Infrastructure: Our college provides everything which is useful to students. Our college has a pleasant atmosphere, good faculty members, Wi-Fi facility, excellent labs and classrooms. It is a ragging-free campus. Our college also has an excellent canteen, and hostel facilities are also very good.
Faculty: Our college has excellent staff members. Teachers are really very active and always clear the doubts of the students and make them in a good manner. Our university also conducts classes for behaviour learning, how to dress, and how to talk for students who are afraid to talk on stage. They help and teach how to talk and maintain good nature.
Other: I have chosen this course because I am not interested in other groups and have the interest to study oil, how we get oil and gas, and how we extract it. So, I got an interest to study petroleum engineering. In the previous year, we don't have all the lab equipment in our lab, and later, they are going to arrange the best lab equipment for us. So there is no need for any changes in our course.

It is the best college with good labs for a petroleum engineering course in South India.
Placements: Around 20% of the students are placed in the middle of the year may be a possibility 50% of the students will get placements at the end of the year. The top recruiting companies are Shell and Schlumberger. The role offered was a pipeline engineer. The highest salary package offered was 6 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 8 LPA. About 70% of the students got an internship in small private companies which are not known to many people.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure here are extraordinary compared to other colleges in South India. There is very good availability of labs and the equipment for petroleum engineering. No college in southern India may have these types of clean equipment which are there in our college.
Faculty: Faculty members here are helpful, but you have to be more sincere with the faculty. They do not allow us to commit mistakes in the classroom. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is completely the GATE syllabus of petroleum engineering. It is a good college with great faculty in Karnataka.

Why you would choose Presidency University? Every detail is mentioned, hope you make a good decision
Placements: Currently 4 students are placed out of a batch of 59 in my course. The average salary package should be 4-4.5 Lacs till now. Major Recruiters were- TCS, Wipro, Shell (In my course). Roles offered in my course we're Data Analyst. The highest package in our course was 7.1 Lacs pa. From my course currently some 9 guys got internship in some local industries.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure offered in our campus is extremely awesome. We have got the best labs with the best equipments in our Department. Wi-Fi is available only for teachers. Library is assisted with all recent international Journals, good sitting space both in and out of it. And, library has also got PC's to access any information or to do any work. We have large sitting areas. Football court, Kabadi court, Basketball Court, Throwball Court, Volleyball Court, Cricket Practice Nets, and Some more indoor games coming up (including TT, Caroom, Gym, etc. ). Hostel are good with 2 sharing and 3 sharing rooms available at different costs. Good Wi-Fi is provided, Tables, Chairs, Geysers, Sport's Area, TV, and many more basic facilities are available. Quality is not compromised anywhere good food quality both in mess and in canteen with Medical Room in University with rest areas and attendant's is available.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful in any study or project related work, most of the faculty members are Doctorates or M.Tech with renowned Universities all around the Globe. Teachers are highly Knowledgeable as they have helped the students reach greater heights till the stage of Publishing papers in Journals conducting local and National level events. The course curriculum is relevant as the HOD deals and designs it himself concerning all the good colleges over India. It definitely makes the students to learn more, make them greedy for knowledge and definitely make the students industry ready.
Other: I selected this course based on the complexity of it, I loved studying about the earth and was curious enough to know what happens below the surface. The best thing about my course is you would get the exact knowledge from how we start to locate petroleum, how we process and get it to the surface and how it reaches a normal human being. And, mark it the course handout is designed in such a way that everything or all processes in the industry following will go in sequence from the commencing of the first year till the ending of fourth year. Things that I feel would be better are already functioned with the new batches which was introduction to Programming languages from starting and some basic core knowledge in first year. Campus is crowded but their is enough space for everyone, connectivity is really good with towers installed on University grounds, Scholarships are available for all the necessary people and a fee deduction is also offered for special people. Their are a *** lot of fests conducted including guest lectures, workshops, fun events, celebrities coming in, and much more.

Infrastructure: Presidency University has a great infrastructure, and we also have a big fountain in front of the main building. The campus is huge, and there are two big canteens available here. There are different blocks for different branches such as engineering, MBA, and law. Overall, the infrastructure of our college is just awesome.
Faculty: Faculty members in the college are very responsible about what they are teaching. They are very concerned about students. They put their best efforts and also clear the students' doubts in free hours. Every classroom is equipped with a projector, and the teachers use those projectors to teach. The course curriculum is useful.
Other: The college organises a fest in February every year. Freshers' day and sports day, etc., are also conducted in the college.

Q:   Is there enough demand for BTech graduates in the job market?
ShikshaGPT says
A:

If we look at the market demand, no doubt there is huge demand for BTech (Full Form: Bachelor of Technology) graduates among top recruiters who are constantly looking for skilled and knowledgeable students with fresh ideas to enhance their business growth and profitability.

Having said that, a few previous-year employment reports published by the Business Standard and Times of India suggest that students found it a struggle to land a high-paying job after completing BTech because of a lack of industry-specific skills and knowledge and cut-throat competition between Lacs of engineering students hunting for a job.

Hence, it is very important for students to focus on enhancing their skill set according to industrial demands and technological advancements, stay updated regarding all industry trends, build good networks and, most importantly, take up internships to gain experience and stand out in front of the employer.

Hey, It is highly not possible to get a seat in Presidency University with that ranking. But, you can get a seat through a quota called CET-management. The difference in fees is negligible. But, the seats in that quota are limited. So, apply now!
