UPES School of Law BA LLB (Hons) is an integrated programme with a duration of five years. It is a full-time course. For admission to the UPES BA LLB (Hons) programme, aspirants should have passed the UPES Legal Studies Aptitude Test (ULSAT). The candidates can also take admission with a valid CLAT/LSAT score. Every year, the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) conducts ULSAT in multiple phases.
Yes, the UPES School of Law offers a five-year BA LLB (Hons) programme. The integrated course is available in a full-time mode. Aspirants can get admitted either based on merit or through an entrance examination score. The university law school accept ULSAT scores. Candidates with good scores in LSAT/CLAT scores criteria. Candidates with 75% aggregate or above in Class 10 and Class 12 in five main subjects (English as compulsory subject) are exempted from ULSAT.
Students of any stream can apply for BA LLB provided that they meet the basic eligibility criteria. Candidates should clear Class 12 in any stream from a recognised school, with minimum 45-50 percent aggregate marks. There is no age bar to pursue the course. Also, if a candidate aspires to pursue law from NLUs, he has to pass CLAT UG entrance examination. Therefore, candidates from Science, Arts or Commerce background can take up BA LLB in graduation level since the candidates are taught basic concepts of Political Science, Sociology in the first semester.
Yes, UPES School of Law accepts CLAT scores for admission to its BA LLB program. Candidates with a minimum of 50% aggregate in Higher & Senior Secondary (10 & 12) and CLAT ranking are eligible to apply for admission. The admissions are done on the basis of the School of Law, UPES cut off of CLAT AIR/LSAT India Percentile/Board scores
However, it is important to note that admission to UPES School of Law is not solely based on CLAT scores, and other factors such as academic performance, extracurricular activities, and personal interviews may also be considered
The LSAT India has been discontinued by the LSAC.
