It's best for commerce students.
Placements: Last year's placement was remarkable. Total of 160+ offers with 40+ companies recruiting across various profiles like finance, auditing, marketing, consulting, taxation, HR, sales manager, etc. The highest package was of 23 LPA from DE Shaw group. All the Big 4, like KPMG, PWC, Deloitte, EY, are hiring more than 80+ students. Also, Zomato, RSM, and IntellPat are the other main recruiters.
Infrastructure: SBSC offers very good infrastructure. There are 2 libraries with great facilities. All course books and non-course books are there. The morning college library has 2 floors. Newspapers across from the economic times, Harvard, Hindu, etc. There are 2 canteens with reasonable prices. One stationery shop with photocopy facilities. There is Gyan Prasad Kendriya by our college principal's initiatives, which offers course-wise lectures on YouTube.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified with years of experience. My course is very relevant, much like this one, the mainstream course for students with a commerce background. Our college offers Excel and Tally programs for us. The exams are above average as it is added as credit points for our overall CGPA. Pass percentage is around 50%.
Other: I choose this course as this is the course that is relevant to me. The best things about my course are the variety of subjects in each semester. Also, the extra Subjects that our college offers are enjoyable and relaxing. The things I wish would be better are more experience in the real world, with the introduction of industry experts. Events are gradually happening like society's events, normal fests, etc.

Life at Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, DU.
Placements: Placement cell is pretty active. It hosts webinars on resume building, interview preparation, aptitude test preparation for your overall profile building, and is very supportive. It also offers internship opportunities, and there is a wide variety of companies that recruit on campus.
Infrastructure: Library is well furnished, air-conditioned, and extremely great. Infrastructure is also amazing, as per the fees. A lot of things are being renovated as of now, like the sports ground, classrooms, and library. Canteen at the college serves very delicious food that you can also pack and take with you.
Faculty: The curriculum, like other DU colleges, is well structured and thorough. The exam fees is same for every DU college and it is as per your course. It usually comes around 1500-2000, and not more than that. The faculty is extremely supportive and guides students in every way possible.

Dissatisfied because of overall infrastructure.
Placements: The percentage of the students who were placed in my course was 55 percent. The highest package was 6 lacs, and the average package was 4 lacs. The lowest package was 2.5 lacs. Many reputed companies came to our college for recruitment, and many students also got internships.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for my course/ department. Wi-Fi facilities are available for faculties only. Labs and classrooms are average-sized and not cleaned daily. The washrooms are not good, and the quality of food available in the mess and canteen is acceptable.
Faculty: The teachers are not well qualified and knowledgeable. They do not provide enough resources for study so that students can perform well in the examinations. Our course is not curriculum-relevant because not much happens apart from studies and lectures.

B.A. (Hons.) in English - Batch of 2028
3.6
3Placements4Infrastructure4Faculty3Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
Satisfied because of decent crowd, average infrastructure, great teachers, and campus surroundings.
Placements: Almost 40 to 60% of students from the course were offered placements this year, with packages averaging around 2 to 4 LPA. Many students found internships off-campus as well as from the college. Not sure about the roles offered or companies that visited, though.
Infrastructure: The classes for English Honours are well maintained, but the only issue is with the ventilation system. Sometimes the fans don't seem to work either. The Wi-Fi is stable, and the library is spacious and air-conditioned. The playground has been under construction for a year or so and will probably take another year to be fully developed.
Faculty: Teachers in my course seem very knowledgeable and stick to the subject, and don’t waste time with unnecessary stories. They teach at a steady pace and constantly ask questions to reinforce the topics. Semester exams for a course like English Hons are only difficult when not prepared for. A thorough reading and a week or two of preparation will make one able to pass them easily.
Other: I chose this course out of pure interest. The best thing about it is definitely the opportunity to explore diverse texts and stories. It aligns with my interests in literature and media, too. Fests and events aren't well managed and don’t even happen much due to budget constraints. Sake and Hauz Khas are 10 minutes away from our college, making the campus surroundings favorable.

Absolutely satisfied with faculty members and good placements.
Placements: College provides more than 160 placement offers, across 40+ recruiting companies in different roles like consulting, finance, audit and marketing, operations, HR, and startups. The average package is around 5 LPA - 6 LPA, and the highest package is 23 LPA. Estimated placement rate is around 60-70%.
Infrastructure: Geography department is one of the best departments at the college. It provides 1 cartography lab, 2 remote sensing labs, and GIS lab with efficient technical devices. The lab assistants are very polite. College has a library with a huge and spacious reading hall. Canteen provides affordable and hygienic food. All medical facilities are also available.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members are Ph.D. holders. In geography department, faculty members have more than 15 years of experience. There is a geographical association with a core team also. Semester exams are not that difficult if you are attending your classes regularly.
Other: College offers an impressive vibrant array of campus societies which include film tantra, envision, spardha, natuve, minerva, harithkram, etc. The geography department organizes an annual geo fest called Vasundhara, and has a magazine called Landscaped.

The college is quite good and the environment is also great.
Placements: I am pursuing B.Com (P). There are almost 70 students in my class. The lowest package of my course is Rs 15,000. The highest package is Rs 18,000 per month. Only 20% of the students get placed every single year. They are the students who are preparing for competition exams.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is outdated. Classrooms are in good condition but some classrooms are also not up to date. The college library has free Wi-Fi access and a silent environment. The canteen of the college is very neat and clean. But the food of the canteen is a bit expensive.
Faculty: Faculty members of our college are very friendly and of good nature. They always support the students and guide them towards their careers. They also motivate them. The semester exams at the college are not too hard. The passing percentage of the college is about 30%.
Other: I have opted B.Com (P) because I am currently exploring my field area where I can build up my career.
