Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very good with everything available on campus including laboratory equipment. It has a good hostel with many rooms and is available to every student. It has all the facilities like electricity, water, gym, mess, etc.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and friendly. They are well experienced with their domain. The course curriculum is relevant with theoretical as well as practical application. It makes the student industry ready because it has 2 industrial training during the course.

Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology: The ideal place to live the college life.
Placements: 90% of the students got placed. Companies like Wells Fargo, Ixia, Think and Learn, Bosch came for placements. Placement drive begins from 3rd year itself. Various roles offered included project engineer, software engineer, business associate, etc. Many internships are also awarded.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of SMIT is getting better with each day. In the last 3 to 4 years there has been a lot of change. There is a separate examination department room where the teachers have to sit and check the scripts. The library has been transformed into a really big one. The incubation center has also come up.
Faculty: Few of the teachers are very strict and others are friendly. All lessons are explained well in the class and if there are doubts, students can visit the teacher at his preferred time. Teacher however are strict, they are always ready to explain the doubts to the students.
Other: The college fest Kalraav is a high budget fest. Celebrity performers do come.

Placements: In the previous batch of our college, almost the placement percentage varies between 94% to 98%. The top recruiting companies mainly include Bosch, Dell, LT Elevators, Ericsson, etc. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 5 LPA. Students usually get the roles of a system engineer, an analyst, etc. Internships are provided to students from recruiting companies, and as well as from other companies if students are willing to do in.
Infrastructure: The college has a well maintained and well-equipped lab. There is a separate departmental library for all departments. Classrooms have a projector and screen facilities that make learning and teaching easier. There is a canteen on the academic block for students and teachers. There are separate mess and hostel for boys and girls. Both classrooms and hostel rooms are provided with Wi-Fi. There is a dispensary on the entire campus, and it can be approached in case of any emergency.
Faculty: Teachers in every department are well-qualified and helpful. The teaching quality is also good. Each department conducts several sessions for feedback to look at the efficiency of the teachers. The course curriculum is well organised and it is strictly according to AICTE guidelines. Various internships and training are a part of the course to make students industry-ready.
Other: SMIT organises the biggest college fest in entire North-India, and it is called Kaalrav.

Placements: Almost 98% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered was 11 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 3.9 LPA. The average salary package offered was 4.6 LPA. Companies like Ericsson, Sunrator and ASEB visited our college and hired many students for an internship. Think & Learn also visited our college and recruited many students from our college.
Infrastructure: Our department is well-facilitated and filled with highly integrated equipment updated with advance technology labs. Our college also provides machine lab, power systems, power electronics, control, BE, microprocessor lab, measurement and programming lab. Our college provides world-class central library just to meet the academic and research needs of the teachers, research scholars and students. Books, journals and current information on various are fulfilling the requirements of the SMIT communities, and there is a central library in DELNET for online access of e-journals and e-books. Our college is equipped with CCTV cameras. Our college provides facilities like night cafeterias, solar panels installed for hot water supply, 24x7 electricity, 24x7 Wi-Fi, laundry services, good internet bandwidth, LAN and WAN network in the hostel. The hostel is quite luxurious. Our college provides indoor sports complex for both boys and girls separately. Our college provides a gym, aerobic room, mediation room, yoga room and swimming pool. Our college provides sports courts like basketball, football and cricket ground, outdoor and indoor badminton and tennis courts, squash courts, etc. Our college provides single and double rooms in the hostel with the air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned facility with comfort services. Our college provides both attached and separate bathroom for the individual. Our college offers a peaceful environment.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are well learned, affectionate and interactive. They delivered lectures within or outside scheduled sessions. They are very humble and affable. They make students industry-ready.

Placements: Amongst those from the outgoing batch of EEE Department of SMIT, 98% were placed and among them 75% of the students got more than one offer. Bosch, Dell, LTE are few companies to name amongst the large pool that came for recruitment. Maximum package offered was around 11LPA.
