As per the latest report,  over 350 recruiters participated in the placement process 2023 at DIT University and presented over 1,350 job offers to the students of Class 2023. The the highest package package offered during DIT University placements in 2023 stood at INR 58 LPA. The top recruiters of DIT University Dehradun in 2023 included Palo Alto Network,   Amazon, Microsoft, Deloitte, KPMG, IBM, Optum, Commvault, etc.

The university shortlists candidates based on their merit or entrance exam scores. DIT University Dehradun also conducts DUET for shortlisting aspirants for MPharm, M.Tech and PhD courses. Some of the scholarships provided by the university are Merit-Based Scholarships, Uttarakhand/ Other Himalayan States Scholarships, Shri Naveen Agarwal Ji Scholarship for Girl Students, Scholarships on the Basis of Performance in Sports, Financial Assistance for Sibling (S), and others. 

A total of 415 offers were made during DIT University placement 2024. It was 817 and 1251 in 2023 and 2022. The placement rate in 2024 was 64.18% whereas it was 89.01% and 95% in previous two years. The highest package offered in 2024 and 2023 was 44 LPA and 58 LPA.
