SOT PDEU admission to BTech is based on entrance exam score.  Candidates can apply for BTech through JEE Main score. Admission to BTech is offered on All India and Government seats (ACPC Quota). Candidates can take admission in BTech Biotechnology through GUJCET score. Once selected, candidates are offered a seat in the university. 67% seats offered under All India Quota are filled based on JEE Main score and 33% offered under ACPC Quota are filled based on GUJCET score. Aspirants need to pay the programme fee after receiving the offer letter to confirm their seat in the university.

SOT PDEU BTech has reserved 33% of the seats for candidates securing admission through ACPC. Candidates applying for admission from Gujarat can apply for admission through ACPC and secure a seat in the BTech programme at the instiute. Candidates applying for admission from states other than Gujarat will have to apply through All India quota.

Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria to apply for SOT PDEU BTech programme. Aspirants must pass a minimum of Class 12 to apply for BTech. Below is detailed eligibility for BTech:

• Class 12 with at least 45% aggregate (40% aggregate for SC/ ST) in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or PCB (only for Biotechnology) including theory and practical to apply for BTech programme.
