I'm absolutely satisfied with the college campus, the better placements every year, and good faculty
Placements: A lot of roles are offered in college placements. The college is one of the best when it comes to placements, as all of the Big 4 companies come every year to recruit students for roles like accountant or manager. Many other top companies also come to recruit students. All of the students who sit for placements usually get a job with an average package of ₹6-7 LPA, with the highest being around ₹24 LPA.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is absolutely amazing compared to other colleges of Delhi University. It has a fully air-conditioned campus with an auditorium that has a capacity of 1,000 people in an elevated format. It also consists of a Gurudwara made entirely of wood, and the buildings are also good with good furniture. There is no hostel available for boys, it is only available for girls with decent infrastructure and good service.
Faculty: The college is an elite option for commerce students. The faculty is really good, especially when it comes to finance-related things. The teachers are experienced and always positive. Exams are not easy, they are in the medium to difficult category, depending on the course you choose. However, this college does not lack in providing you with real-life practical knowledge related to your field.
Other: The college is absolutely the best, with great vibes all around. There are a lot of societies to choose from based on your interests, and events are always going on. The crowd is one of the best parts, it's really good, and the whole college is a great option.

A good college of Delhi University is so underrated.
Placements: The highest package is 36 LPA in my college. Nearly 40% of students are placed from my course with an average package of 7 LPA-8 LPA in big 4 Deloitte, EY, KPMG, and PwC. The lowest package offered in my course is 4 LPA. The top role offered in my course is in the audit line.
Infrastructure: Facilities provided are Wi-Fi, AC classroom, and AC in the library which has 3 floors full space of sitting and availability of books, canteen, and good infrastructure. Talking about the hostel, all the necessities are provided in hostel good food in a mess with a 3-time meal.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified, very helpful, and knowledgeable. They are always ready to take doubts in college and at their home too. The exams are not too difficult, passing percentage is 64% in each subject including IA and theory exams.

It is a very above average college.
Placements: I think approximately 85% of students secure placements. Rest students are not able to secure placements. The highest salary package is around 9.5 LPA, and the average package is 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are KPMG, EY, PwC, Wipro, L&T, etc.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi connection can be a little bad sometimes but the other infrastructure is really great. Washrooms are very clean. Classrooms are air-conditioned and the water supply is good and clean. Library and labs are very well managed. But in hostels, the food cooked can be somewhat better, except for that the hostel rooms are nice and clean to reside in.
Faculty: Teaching quality of all the teachers is great. Teachers are very helpful, especially during exams except for a few teachers. Semester exams are not that hard, especially the mid-semester. But the level of end-semester is a little tough. Passing percentage is 40% first end-semester.
Other: I chose B.Com (Hons) because I wanted to go into the finance line. One of the best things about my course is that it really helps me learn about the finance department. The scope of actually getting a good job without doing an extra course with B.Com (Hons) can be a little hard. Other than that the events in my college are really good as there are a lot of societies. There is no cheap crowd. Campus surroundings are also good although it is an off-campus college there is still a lot to do around my college.

It is a great experience.
Placements: Companies are still coming for placements, so the rate of getting placed is high. The average package is around 3.8 or 4 LPA. Deloitte and KPMG are the prominent companies that come for recruiting. Auditing roles and business executive roles are the roles offered in our course.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available on the college campus, but on the 3rd floor, it doesn't work properly. Labs are on the ground as well as the first floor, and all labs are well maintained and updated from time to time for students. The food available in the canteen is average, not so good, not so bad.
Faculty: All teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. They are helpful and supportive. The curriculum is relevant, as there are a number of courses like Excel and web development that may help students prepare for the industry. Semester exams are of moderate difficulty level.
Other: I decide to pursue this course soon after I complete my 12th. There are a lot of opportunities you get after pursuing this course.

It's worth of money. The crowd is good, faculty is helpful, and infrastructure is good.
Placements: A lot of companies came to our college campus for placement purposes. It includes some of the top companies like Deloitte and KPMG. Deloitte came with an average salary package of 6.5 LPA. KPMG came for mass hiring so that a lot of students could be placed with a package of around 3.5 LPA. Other companies came with a package of around 3.4 LPA. They came to hire students who left for placements.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available on the campus, not all around the college. It works well in some areas like in the canteen. There are labs on the ground floor and first floor. There are 3 or 4 labs in the college to assist them in practising for practical exams. These labs are well-maintained. The library is very big with a lot of course books which can be issued to students. There's also a space for students to sit and study in the library. The food is okay. It is not very good. It is like other colleges.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and well-qualified. They possess experience in teaching so they are good. The curriculum is above average but not the best. It makes students understand many skills that can help them in the industry they will go to. Some exams are a little difficult and some are easy so it creates a balance. Students can pass even if they study at the end.
Other: A lot of events are organised in the college but the main issue is the annual fest as it is organised. It can be organised in a more improved and enjoyable way. A lot of music, dance, drama, and other activities are organised in the college for fun.

It is difficult to decide which course is better without knowing what one wants in a course. Both the courses are good. However, fee-wise B.Com is effective than BMS.

BMS- Rs. 45500/- (1st year)

The BCom programme offered at Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce has received good reviews from alumni and students in terms of placements, infrastructure and quality of teaching. According to the verified Shiksha Reviews, students have left the following SGGSCC BCom reviews:

  • The infrastructure surpassed my expectations on many levels. There's a girls hostel inside the campus with good facilities. All the classrooms have AC. There's greenery all around, creating an overall very comforting environment.
  • The teachers are well qualified. Majority of them have a PhD or are pursuing it.
  • There's Founder's Day, Annual Day, Farewell, Freshers, The Annual Fest and many other cultural events which help students take part in organizing committees and learn various soft skills.
