DRC is probably the second-best girls' college of DU.
Placements: Placement percentage is indeed a little poor at DRC as even Commerce and Economics students find placements hard. The Big 4 that is KPMG, EY, Deloitte, and PwC have been the best recruiters but they also note just a few students. Internship students have to find on their own as college doesn't provide that.
Infrastructure: The newly built building is perfect from AC classrooms to smart boards, we have them all. Our canteen too is amazing as it's an all-girls college and our canteen serves a variety of pastries. The only issue is with the auditorium as it needs serious development.
Faculty: Faculty members undoubtedly are all experts in the subjects. Also, many would complain that professors don't teach properly or anything. The course of DU for B.Com (Hons) is absolute. Exams are much easier as the passing percentage of our course is around 90 percent..
Other: The best thing is that our course opens various career doors and that was the belief that made me take this course.

Average infrastructure, and faculty, and not great ROI.
Placements: I’m from B. Com (Hons) at Daulat Ram College, University of Delhi (2025–26 batch). Around 55–65 percent of students are placed. Avg package 4.5–5 LPA, the highest 8–9 LPA. Recruiters include Deloitte, EY, PwC. Internships 60–70 percent in banks, startups, and corporates.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are decent, Wi-Fi works but can be slow, and the library is very good with lots of study space. Hostel facilities are okay, mess food is average, and the canteen is better. Basic medical help and sports facilities are available. Hostel rooms are okay and manageable, mess food is average (some days better than others), and the canteen is more popular than the mess.
Faculty: Most teachers are helpful, well-qualified, and know their subjects well. Teaching quality is good overall, though it can vary from teacher to teacher. Curriculum Relevance: The curriculum is relevant and builds strong basics in commerce, but students usually need internships, certification, or skills to be fully industry-ready. Semester Exams: Semester exams are moderate, not too difficult if you attend classes and study regularly. The pass percentage is quite high (around 90 percent+).

Satisfactory! Good faculty, nice placement, can gain exposure!
Placements: A decent number of students have been placed with an average package of 6.47 LPA, 6.5 LPA and the highest going up to 23 LPA. The top recruiters include the Big Four, e.g., Deloitte, KPMG, etc. Students themselves are looking for internships that fit them. The roles offered in my courses provide the basic financial knowledge to learn further about what happens in real life. It is useful!
Infrastructure: The college is still working on the infrastructure, and there is construction going on, so the building is getting better. The Wi-Fi is very slow, but in the library, it is quite fast, so it is useful for students studying. I do not live in the hostel, but I've heard about the good food provided there. The canteen is the best area. The food is affordable and tasty. The medical room provides basic medications, and I've not been too sick to acquire service. We have sports upliftment, and we celebrate sports days, but we do not have access to the gym, even if it is there.
Faculty: Teachers are very qualified, but they usually move very fast with the syllabus, and it becomes hard for us to follow. The faculty is otherwise really helpful, and they are trying their best to incorporate outside book knowledge. The course, paired with other side skills, is relevant and will make students ready for jobs, but students have to keep continuing to learn new skills. The semester exam did come a bit difficult for the accounts subject. Otherwise, theory exams are relatively easy to understand and are almost similar to previous year questions. The passing percentage in the theory exam is 40%.
Other: I chose this course as I came from a commerce background. The best thing is that it provides knowledge about the real-world financial laws and workings. This course can be better if we get to visit real industries to actually correlate the theory and real life, and we can be present as student interns to observe the work. I have yet to experience the fests as I'm in the 2nd semester and they haven't happened yet, but the freshers' party was done with great enthusiasm, and there were DJ nights! The campus is overall very positive and welcoming.

Dissatisfied with the college.
Placements: Not every student gets placement there. The placement cell is so overhyped. Top recruiting companies do come for campus placement but still, hiring is around 5-8 students per batch. Some good students are placed at HR level too. Around 40 percent get placement there.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. Front lawn is also good. The water smells so bad. Water is not drinkable. The library has a silent environment for studying. In the library, a lot of books are there, what if they are from 1960s. Our new building is also under construction that will add on in infrastructure soon.
Faculty: Teachers are way too good and helpful throughout the semester. The course will not make students industry-ready. We have to learn skills which we can use either through college or any outside institute. I thought semester exams are so short so please give 1-2 months extra to cover the syllabus.
Other: I regret my decision sometimes but still enjoying the decision. The fest is so good.

It is a good college. I am absolutely satisfied with it.
Placements: Placements in the college are good enough. More than half of the students get placed if they are doing other courses like engineering, but students who take B.Com. Hons often go for higher studies or a professional course. Top recruiting companies like TCS, Reliance, Adani, etc., hire students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. Wi-Fi and classrooms are available. The library of the college is also good, and a lot of books are present in the library. The hostel facility is not available in the college, so students have to look for other options for staying, like PGs and flats.
Faculty: Faculty members of the college are good. Teachers are overall helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They help every student with their doubts. The course curriculum of the college is also very good. Overall, it provides advanced knowledge to make students industry-ready. Semester exams are difficult, and if students don't study, they might fail the examination.
Other: Delhi University is famous for its events. Many events are performed in the year, and they are enjoyable. I chose this course because I have to do further studies.
