The college is nice overall, on the basis of the environment and such.
Placements: The average package at my college for courses like B.Com (Hons) ranges from 12 LPA to 32 LPA, with the lowest packages going up to 2 LPA or 3 LPA, and the highest packages reaching 32 LPA. Top recruiting firms include Deloitte, Zomato, and J.P. Morgan. Around 40% of the students receive great packages.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my college is okayish in terms of the classrooms, they are kind of less spacious, although the new building is spacious and fully air-conditioned, so that's not a problem. The labs are very good with working facilities of computers and AC.
Faculty: The faculty is both good and bad. It depends on the course, the semester, and the subjects. The courses are relatable as all of the colleges have the same courses, so there's no difference. Almost everyone passes except for the 5% of students who don't study.

I am very satisfied with my college.
Placements: 70% of marks students can get admission in this college. The highest package of college is around 33 LPA, the lowest package is around 4 LPA, and the average package is around 6 to 7LPA. 80% of students can get internships from college in big companies.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the college is excellent. Infrastructure of the hostel is also very nice. There are air conditioning rooms as well as non air conditioning rooms. Mess food is very good, healthy, and hygeinic. Library is also available for students.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful to children. They help us in all methods in which they can. Staff is also very nice. College is very clean, and semester exams are not very tough. If you study regularly, you can pass the exams very easily.
Other: Everything is very nice.

Very bad infra, lack imp societies.
Placements: The highest package offered is approximately 22 LPA, while the lowest package is around 3 LPA. Only one or two companies provide such high packages; in fact, 95% of companies are offering packages in the range of 5-6 LPA, which is relatively low. I must emphasize that the placements at the college are not good at all, so don't rely solely on them.
Infrastructure: We have a very poor infrastructure. There's no building for the commerce department, a new one has been under construction for the past 4-5 years. We mostly have classes in the tute rooms which can accommodate only 20-30 people at a time which is just half of the class size I. e. 50 approximately. The auditorium is bad, just 1 conference hall, lack of computer systems.
Faculty: Faculty members are okayish, they're knowledgeable but most of them just depend on the old technique of rot learning. The course curriculum is fine, but it doesn't make the students industry-ready. Students take this course very lightly, they're mostly engaged in extracurricular. The semester exams aren't difficult at all, I think most people usually pass easily only.
Other: The college really lacks in terms of society. Even the basic and important societies like 180dc, enactus, marketing, finance, and many more are not present in this college. This is really disappointing.

Worth for art and science department, principal is not good, and it is under construction.
Placements: Placements here are average. Most companies this time are related to sales or calling jobs, with low payouts and few well-known names. Even the known companies hire very few students. The placement messages in college groups often mention roles with low salaries and exaggerated job descriptions. Internships are also limited, either students get filtered out due to academics or don't make it past interviews. Most top roles offered are executive or sales-based, mainly focused on networking and calling.
Infrastructure: College Wi-Fi works only for staff and is extremely slow. The water coolers rarely have water, and when they do, it's not drinkable. Due to ongoing construction, two washrooms remained closed for the whole year. Classroom fans barely work, making it unbearable in summer. Because of no regular classes and classroom shortage, we have long gaps in our timetable. A whole wing is under construction. In labs, we are not allowed to practice unless a teacher is present which is not always possible. Computer labs could only be used during class time.
Faculty: Some teachers are very good and supportive, but they give only average marks to everyone. On the other hand, some are really poor. They not only teach badly, but they also give low marks and created a lot of stress with unnecessary assignments. This college is just average for commerce students. The exam level is difficult compared to what is taught. For example, in my first semester, they taught only basic financial accounting, but the exam is on a completely different level.
Other: I chose this college thinking it's a women's college and would be supportive, but here even female teachers don't support students. They often target us over small issues and cut marks unnecessarily. Some teachers are really good, but many don't teach properly or attend classes, and their teaching methods are poor. If you want to take admission here, go for science or arts, those departments have great teachers and offer better opportunities. All the NEP-added extra subjects are also taught well.

Reality of Daulat Ram College.
Placements: The number of students that get the placement is way too less from the brochure that the college provides. The average placement is around 16 LPA but when I asked my seniors about this they said that it is not average but it's the highest. By which you can think how poor is the placements.
Infrastructure: We have the largest department i.e. commerce department but we don't have separate buildings or classes for the commerce students. The hostel does not provide any Wi-Fi facilities to the hostelers which is a bad thing as internet connection in this world is a need.
Faculty: The teachers are quite helpful and very rigid to the marks. However, the college needs to re-check their accountancy teachers once. The course is industry-ready but all the things are to be done yourself no one is going to help you in the real-world. Semester exams are easy.
Other: I chose this course because I love business and business-related things like finance and accounting. The thing that I want should improve in my course is practicality. Our fest is the best among all the North campus colleges. Daulat Ram has the best crowd.

Q:   Which one is better for BCom, IP College for Women or Daulat Ram College, University of Delhi?
ShikshaGPT says
A:

Different candidates can have different opinions for this comparison. As both the colleges (IP college for women Delhi and Daulat Ram College University of Delhi) are affiliated to university of Delhi. Both have good facilities, good infrastructure, good faculty members and both accept CUET cut-offs.

Here are some points which can help to  choose the better college:-

  1. Infrastructure:- Both Universities have big campus, alongwith garden, sports ground, classrooms and laboratories. But according to the reviews and ratings available on the internet, Daulat Ram College has a better campus than the IP college.
  2.  Campus life :- according to the reviews on the internet both colleges have good campus life . Both are rated average in terms of campus life .
  3. Placements :- The placement in IP college is better than Daulat Ram College University of Delhi on the basis of recent year placements.
  4. Fees :- Daulat Ram College, University of Delhi has higher fees as compared with the Indraprastha college for women Delhi.
  5. Cut-off :- Both colleges accept CUET exam cut-offs but the cut-offs at Daulat Ram College University of Delhi is higher as compared to the IP college for women Delhi for the same course.

So, we can conclude that in recent years IP college for women has improved its quality of education and provided better opportunities than Daulat Ram College University of Delhi. However, Daulat Ram College University in Delhi has built a strong base in past years, so it's not good to say that IP colleges are better. Candidates can choose the best depending on their needs and expectations.

ShikshaGPT says
A:

It is difficult to say for certain whether you can get admission to Daulat Ram College with 60% in Class 12th, as the cut-off marks vary each year depending on the number and quality of applicants. However, 60% is a decent score, and you should have a chance of getting admission to some of the less popular courses at the college.

To improve your chances of getting into Daulat Ram College, you should try to score well in the CUET exam, which is now used for admissions to all Delhi University colleges. You should also keep an eye on the cut-off marks released by the college each year, and apply for courses that are within your reach.

Q:   Can I join Daulat Ram College without CUET?
ShikshaGPT says
A:

No, you cannot join Daulat Ram College without CUET. CUET is the only entrance exam accepted for admission to Daulat Ram College and other central and participating state universities in India.

The Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUET) is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate programs in central universities and participating state universities. The CUET exam was introduced in 2022 to replace the different entrance exams that were previously conducted by individual universities.

The CUET exam consists of three sections:

* Section A: Language Test (English)

* Section B: Domain-specific Test (Science/Mathematics/Humanities)

* Section C: General Test

Candidates can choose to appear for any combination of sections, depending on the programme they are applying to.

To apply for admission to Daulat Ram College, candidates will need to register for the CUET exam and appear for the relevant sections. After the CUET results are declared, candidates will need to register for the Central Seat Allocation System (CSAS) and apply to Daulat Ram College.

The admission process to Daulat Ram College will be based on the candidate's CUET score and other factors such as reservation and extracurricular activities.

If you are interested in applying to Daulat Ram College, I recommend that you start preparing for the CUET exam early. You should also research the college carefully and make sure that it is a good fit for your academic and career goals.
