The T. John Institute of Technology, Bangalore,   offers 6 undergraduate, one Postgraduate, and three Doctoral courses. The TJIT admissions include BE./B.Tech, M.C.A., and Ph.D.  TJIT admissions are provided in different branches. Before applying for TJIT admissions, the aspirant should appear for the relevant entrance examination, such as  KCET (only for Karnataka students) or COMEDK/AIEEE/JEE ENTRANCE for UG programmes and Karnataka PGCET/KMAT/MAT for PG programmes. TJIT UG Eligibility Criteria

Admission to BTech programme is granted based on score obtained by eligible candidates in COMEDK/ AIEEE/ JEE Main. For Karnataka state candidates, KCET score is considered by the institute for granting admission.

• Information Science and Engineering (established in 2007, total intake of 60students), offering BE in Information Science
• Electronics Communication and Engineering (established in 2006, total intake of 120 students), offering BEprogramme in Electronics and Communication Engineering and MTech in VLSI Design and Embedded Systems and PhD in Electronics Communication and Engineering, affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE)
• Mechanical Engineering (established in 2009, total intake of 120 students), offering BE in Mechanical Engineering and PhD in Mechanical Engineering
• Civil Engineering (established in 2012, total intake of 60 students), offering BE in Civil Engineering

T. John Institute of Technology admissions are competitive. The admission process for B.E. courses is based on CET and COMEDK/ AIEEE/ JEE exam scores. T John Institute of Technology offers a Bachelor of Engineering to its undergraduate students. The BE course has five streams available. Each specialisation has 60 seats available. Candidates must have completed their 10+2 exams with at least 45% in PCM subjects.

Life at T.John Institute of Technology is very deciplined and healthy. Classes are well-maintained and have a very good atmosphere inside the TJIT campus which Students call an assembly. It is a very reputed college in south Bangalore. The college campus is green and very beautiful. The infrastructure is excellent. The college has good classrooms. ICT facility has been provided in all the seminar halls. The library is well furnished with all the required study materials.

            Professors are very dedicated and committed. In the computer Science course, faculty teachers are friendly. Their teaching techniques are good. All faculty members are helpful. They use power point presentations to teach and to make students understand better. Students can easily clear exams if  they go through the previous exam papers of two years and attend the regular classes.
