Our college is well mentioned. Teachers always help us, and really the college has a good design.
Placements: A minimum of 60% of marks is needed to join this course. Overall, the salary package offered here is good, and it will be 3 LPA. The highest salary package offered is not fixed, but it always varies. I think in the last 2 to 3 years, the highest salary package offered was 6 LPA in this college. Top companies visit here for placements in the final year of your education. I am also in the final year, and from our batch, about 5 students got selected in Wipro through an off-campus drive with a starting salary package of 7 LPA. Recently one of our classmates also got placements in Wipro Technologies. So, companies always visit here to offer the latest jobs.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are very good here. You will have to follow strict rules like you have to come to the hostel before 7'o clock in the night. Otherwise, your parents will be noticed for late entry. In the hostel, you will get a free Wi-Fi facility. The food served is also very tasty and hygienic.
Faculty: Teachers here are well qualified and supportive. They are always ready to help you, but you also have to be serious about the study to do great. All teachers are divided as per the study, class, department, etc. Almost all teachers are of M.Sc and PhD level.
Other: In a year, many events are organised in our college like a freshers party, orientation ceremony, etc. Our campus has a place to park your bikes, scooters, cars, etc. As this college is affiliated with Utkal University, scholarships are also provided based on your category and your family's annual income. The campus is under CCTV surveillance 24x7, so you are always safe. If you don't show your Id card, you can't go out or enter the campus, and even they know you.

It is the best college with the best infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Around 95% of the students got placed. The salary package offered varies from 12 LPA to 13 LPA. Every year 50 to 60 companies visit our college for placements like Infosys, Wipro, IBM, Tech Mahindra, etc. Before placements, we are trained for our campus placements and provided with proper knowledge about our branch.
Infrastructure: We have high-speed Wi-Fi system in our college, with well-maintained laboratory rooms and well-furnished classrooms. Canteens serve high-quality food. Sports and co-curriculum activities are also held every year for our refreshments.
Faculty: Teachers are very friendly and helpful, especially during exams. We are very comfortable to ask doubts for our betterment. They provide us with complete knowledge about all the topics, and each chapter is taught to us entirely.
Other: I have chosen the IT branch because it is the best branch, and our college provides the best recruitment opportunities for CSE and IT branch students. Our college provides higher education facilities for every department and helps much for our placements. Every year our college organises events for our enjoyment and refreshments. We are not only encouraged for studies, but also for our extracurricular activities.

It is an amazing college to study.
Placements: Approximately 50% or above students are placed. The average salary package offered is 3.8 LPA. IBM and Rakuten are the top recruiting companies. A software developer is a top role offered by the recruiting companies. I think in our course, the average salary package offered is 4.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: Classrooms have proper ventilation and comfortable furniture, and labs are equipped with up to date equipment. Wi-Fi is available all around the campus. Food served is tasty and hygienic, and canteen is properly cleaned.
Faculty: Teachers here are very helpful, qualified and has a great teaching quality. The course curriculum is relevant, and it is helpful for the future. The syllabus should be more focused on our branch and should be less on other branch studies, and we should get some teaching from industry experts. All the teachers are good in their field and have a good way of teaching.
Other: I have chosen this course because I have an interest in IT, and I am good at this course. We should get more competitive exams and competition so that we could gain some experience. We have many events from technical to non-technical events and also inter-college competitions.

Placements: Trident Academy of technology provides 100% placement with minimum package of 50,000 and maximum 14,90,000. Roles offered is like software developer, sales manager and many more. Our college provide branch wise placement and internship in top rated companies.
Infrastructure: College as well as hostel both the place Wi-Fi is available and labs are fully air conditioner and very huge library is available in both hostel and college. Quality and taste of food is awesome and all kind of medical facility is provided and sports facilities are also provided.
Faculty: All faculty of TAT is very helpful and knowledgeable and experienced as well as qualified. They provide theory as well as practical of particular topic. The syllabus and training given to us makes every one of us industry ready and help in placement. Teachers are very caring and sweet in nature.
Other: I choose this course because this is leading in industry and further increase my knowledge by doing Masters in the particular subject. In timing should increase for students. TAT arrange very huge and big fest and fest is distributed in two parts one is technical fest and other is cultural fest. And scholarship is also provided.

The college is average, neither good nor bad.
Placements: About 15% of the students got placed. The highest salary package of 12 LPA and the lowest salary package of 2 LPA and the average salary package of 4 LPA are offered in our college. TCS is the top recruiter of our college, and system analyst is the top role offered in our course. About 80% of the students got internships in various companies such as Indian Rail.
Infrastructure: All the labs are great and are supported by full air-conditioners and Wi-Fi facility. Wi-Fi is very fast, and students are free to use the LAN. Wi-Fi facility in the hostel is also great, but the food quality is very bad. The campus has a basketball field, cricket, football field and volleyball field.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable, but not all. However, some of them are very capable. The course is curriculum relevant, but you have to put your own full efforts to achieve something, and you have to depend very less on others.

Located at a very good location in the heart of city surrounded by IT companies.
Placements: The placement percentage in our college is quite high as more than 100 companies come to our college every year. Around 60-70% studnets are placed. The highest Package would be of 12 Lacs p. a. , the lowest would be of 1.6 Lacs p. a. and on an average 3.8-4.2 Lacs p. a. The Top recruiting companies for institution would be InfraTech, Vedantau, TCS, Infosys, Mindtree. The top roles would be data analyst. A lot students GOT internship in companies like RSP, N. I. T Rourkela and many more.
Infrastructure: For Information Technology Department there is whole floor full of labs with trained lab assistants. We have a library with Wi-Fi facility and a cheerful environment for studying. The Quality of food available in mess is an average, we have college vehicles for medical issues and annual sports meet is held every year.
Faculty: We have teachers who have completed their M.Tech from IIT KHARAGPUR to taechers from N. I. T Rourkela. Teachers are quite helpful and encourage us for making more and more projects. Yes the course that we are studying is curriculum relevant and it also makes the students ready for working in industry.
Other: I choose this course as I have lot of interest in Science and technology. The best thing would be that we get a lot of hands on just any sitting in our home and opening our laptop or desktop. If the course would have more practical approach rather than theoretical approach it would train us better. We have TECHFEST and TRIFEST each of three days every year. We also have scholarship for bright students from backward classes as well as from general category.

A nice college in the heart of Bhubaneswar.
Placements: Placements in our college were decent. However, there are not many placements to brag about. The college helps students to get placed. The highest salary package offered during our tenure was 3.6 LPA. In off-campus placements, the highest salary package offered was 5.2 LPA which was really hard to get. You will be offered a salary package of 2.2 LPA to 3.2 LPA if you have around 60% in academics.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college was huge, and there are all the facilities. You can't expect much as it was located in a prime location. Our college was located at Infocity. A lot of companies located nearby our college. Neeladri Vihar is the place where our college was located, and you can get almost all the facilities there.
Faculty: Faculty members of our college were very helpful. They have good knowledge about the subject. You can go and meet faculty members anytime. You can just call them before contacting them, or you can directly go to their staffroom situated in the department. The course curriculum was a bit outdated. However, every college follows the same curriculum in India. So the curriculum is common for every college which was approved by AICTE. The only thing about engineering colleges that I don't like is the old curriculum.
Other: The college crowd was good. Since this college was located in Bhubaneswar, most of the students are from Odisha. But you will not face any worries since the teachers speak both Oriya and Hindi while teaching.

A college with healthy teaching environment.
Placements: The college has an efficient and active placement cell. They bring a lot of companies including small and large, MNC and core companies. In my batch there were around 50 companies including on campus and off campus arrived and 80% of the students got placed. Talking about my senior batch the number of companies arrived were less than us. But from our batch it grew to a large extent. Around 30 percent of the students got internship through college and many of them applied for training's themselves in different places like BHEL, Tata Motors, Tata Steel etc. There were no as such any stipend provided to anyone of us. In 2016 the highest salary was offered by SAASfocus which was 4.25 Lacs PA. The lowest of all was 2.5 Lacs PA which was offered by a small scale company.
Infrastructure: The college campus is very big and you can find labs for all the branches like BE lab, BEE lab, mechanics lab, Computer Science Lab etc. All the labs are in very good condition with all facilities. You can find new equipment arriving for new things that is to be performed in the lab. There is a medical aid room and a doctor is available 3 days a week. If there is an emergency they have vehicle facilities to take the students to the nearby KIIMS hospital. There is a basketball court, chess and carrom board room, cricket ground within the college campus itself. Time to time cricket tournament, basketball match, chess competition etc. Takes place. The annual sports day is also a big event which is hosted in Kalinga stadium. The classrooms are in good condition. You can also have e classes if a projector is required for teaching. Those classrooms are air conditioned. The quality of teaching is very good and the teachers are very much interactive and ready to help the students if anytime they need any assistance. The attendance of the students are monitored and if it is less than 70% they are fined for the same. They have in campus hostel facility for both boys and girls and the food quality is okay. The food available in canteen is also okay and price is also reasonable. A very large variety of food stalls are present just outside the college in infocity. The market is nearby.
Faculty: The teaching quality is very good. The teachers are always available to help students even after college hours. They are very qualified and always in touch with the latest technologies and help the students to learn and keep themselves updated. There are individual blocks for each branch and dedicated classrooms for each batch. The teachers arrive on time and takes the class very sincerely. The attendance of the students are monitored and if it is less than 70%, fine is imposed on the students. There are cameras installed in the classrooms to monitor the activities of the students. Yes, we got industry exposure. Students were taken to nearby core companies for visit. Also various clubs like cloud computing club, IoT clubs are there in the college which conducts various sessions for the students to understand the industry trends and to keep themselves updated with the latest technology used in industries.
Other: There are two annual events conducted every year which includes techfest and trifest. There are different colleges participating in the tech fest events. A lot of cash prizes are given to the winners. Apart from this, cricket tournament, chess competition, basketball match etc. Takes place. The campus is big and with Wi-Fi facility. The area outside the college is good which has a lot of MNC's so it is crowded. Many food stalls are also present outside the college. Market is nearby and the college is well connected with the city. It is within the heart of the city.

Yes, engineering is good. But, you can go with management quota. If you go for state counselling, you can't get seat in good colleges. Instead of this, you can do B.Tech programme.
