Review of Odisha University of Technology and Research.
Placements: Our college's IT branch is well-renowned and has a minimum admission cutoff of the 90th percentile for outside students. As of the first half of the session, the highest package was 23.48 LPA, showcasing the impressive stature of this government college in Odisha. We have TCS, Adani, and Amazon as active recruiters for the course.
Infrastructure: The department offers Wi-Fi, well-equipped labs, spacious classrooms, and a resourceful library. Hostel facilities are decent, with clean rooms, average food quality in the mess and food street, basic medical facilities, and ample sports and recreational options.
Faculty: Faculty members are experienced and talented, and they are good at teaching. There is no special care given to any student; everyone is treated equally. As the years proceed, students will find their studies more interesting. The difficulty of the examinations is quite high, and probably around 80% of students will pass.

I think this is a very good government engineering college in Odisha.
Placements: This is a very good branch in our college. A minimum of 90 percentile is required to acquire the IT branch from outside. The highest package is 23.48 LPA in the first half of the session, so this is a very good government college in Odisha. TCS, Adani, and Amazon companies are recruiting for our course. Thank you.
Infrastructure: There are two boys' hostels and two girls' hostels. The names of the boys' hostels are RHR Ramanuja Hall of Residence and APJ. The names of the girls' hostels are KHR Kasturba Hall of Residence, which is only for B.Tech students, and KCHR Kalina Chahala Hall of Residence, which is for OH students. The Wi-Fi condition is good.
Faculty: In our college, there are good and outstanding teachers. Most of the teachers are qualified from some NITs, IIITs, IITs, and also from government engineering colleges. Our college is free from ragging, which is good for our new joining students. Our faculty is very helpful.
Other: This information is enough for students.

88 LPA placements in 2024 at Odisha University of Technology and Research.
Placements: In our university in year 2024, a third-year student hacked a server and got an off-campus offer from that company for package 88 LPA. During on-campus placement season, 40 LPA is the highest package of our university. The lowest package is 3 LPA.
Infrastructure: We are now staying in an outside campus hostel as we are in 1st year and 1st year boys hostel is under construction. For girls, there is a hostel on campus. Campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Medical facilities are also available in the university. There is also a playground for football, cricket, basketball, and badminton court.
Faculty: Exams are regular and decent level. In a complete year, you have to appear in 4 exams, 2 mid-semester examinations and 2 end-semester examinations. Some of the teachers are NIT qualified and well-trained. Every course curriculum is relevant and laboratory teachers are well trained and experienced.
Other: I chose information technology branch at Odisha University of Technology and Research at Bhubaneswar because I love technology and my brother suggested me to join this university. Now the auditorium building is under construction and it looks amazing with a new gate.

A good college with good faculty members and good placements but with a bad infrastructure.
Placements: Almost all students got placed, maybe high or lower package but all got placed. The average package is around 7 LPA. TCS came for mass recruitment. In our course, you can learn the software part of computers the operation system, object-oriented programming, java, cybersecurity, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not as great as it lacks in various ways. Our college still doesn't have a proper main gate and they aren't even working on it. Campus area is huge but it's unused. Most parts of the campus are filled with trees we might say jungle areas. Buildings are too old and require renovation.
Faculty: Teachers are good and knowledgeable, they help you in any situation. Their teaching quality is good too and it makes students industry-ready and semester exams are conducted strictly. But the passing rate is good. Just a few students get their year back and many get back. So, it is hard and strict.
Other: I chose this course to learn about OS and also due to my developing interest in coding, etc. Various events go on throughout the year in our college. The main cultural event is Xtasy and other than that many other technical, business, and other events are organized every year. In extracurricular activities also they help. I am a chess player and represent my college in various tournaments.

Review of Odisha University of Technology and Research.
Placements: Placements are decent with the majority of students bagging offers from IT MNCs like TCS, Wipro, Infosys. There are no core companies for the civil branch, but there's lots of opportunities for IT and CSE students as well as Mechanical and Electrical, with increasing placements each year.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our course is average; there are Wi-Fi facilities, but you can access only study-related things in it. No games, no recreational things, which is a bad thing according to me. The classes of IT and CSE are not equipped with AC, but slowly they are making the classes AC. For example, in 2024, civil classes will be equipped with AC. Hostels are well-maintained, with standard-quality food served in hostel and canteen.
Faculty: The faculty members of our college are really average in teaching as they adopt a very old way of teaching, and also the technology they teach is not up to date, so you need to be updating yourself from outside sources. The exams are held every 6 months, and they have a strict attendance policy of 75% to attend the exams.
