Review of Odisha University of Technology and Research.
Placements: Our college's IT branch is well-renowned and has a minimum admission cutoff of the 90th percentile for outside students. As of the first half of the session, the highest package was 23.48 LPA, showcasing the impressive stature of this government college in Odisha. We have TCS, Adani, and Amazon as active recruiters for the course.
Infrastructure: The department offers Wi-Fi, well-equipped labs, spacious classrooms, and a resourceful library. Hostel facilities are decent, with clean rooms, average food quality in the mess and food street, basic medical facilities, and ample sports and recreational options.
Faculty: Faculty members are experienced and talented, and they are good at teaching. There is no special care given to any student; everyone is treated equally. As the years proceed, students will find their studies more interesting. The difficulty of the examinations is quite high, and probably around 80% of students will pass.

Review about the placements.
Placements: I am Subham Lenka from Odisha University of Technology and Research, and I pursued my B.Tech in information technology. When it comes to placement, our college has shown decent growth over the past few years. Top recruiters included companies like TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, Accenture, and Cognizant. While a few product-based companies, like Mahindra and also visited our campus.
Infrastructure: I can proudly say that the infrastructure here is really impressive and student-friendly. College campus is well-planned, clean, and spread across a large area with a peaceful environment that supports focused learning. Our classrooms are spacious and equipped with projectors and Wi-Fi.
Faculty: Faculty members are supportive, experienced, and quite helpful, especially in the technical departments like CSE, IT, and mechanical. Most of our professors hold M.Tech and Ph.D. degree. We also have project work and lab assessment. Overall, the academic environment is serious.
Other: Our batch has around 100 students, and the environment is quiet.

I think this is a very good government engineering college in Odisha.
Placements: This is a very good branch in our college. A minimum of 90 percentile is required to acquire the IT branch from outside. The highest package is 23.48 LPA in the first half of the session, so this is a very good government college in Odisha. TCS, Adani, and Amazon companies are recruiting for our course. Thank you.
Infrastructure: There are two boys' hostels and two girls' hostels. The names of the boys' hostels are RHR Ramanuja Hall of Residence and APJ. The names of the girls' hostels are KHR Kasturba Hall of Residence, which is only for B.Tech students, and KCHR Kalina Chahala Hall of Residence, which is for OH students. The Wi-Fi condition is good.
Faculty: In our college, there are good and outstanding teachers. Most of the teachers are qualified from some NITs, IIITs, IITs, and also from government engineering colleges. Our college is free from ragging, which is good for our new joining students. Our faculty is very helpful.
Other: This information is enough for students.

88 LPA placements in 2024 at Odisha University of Technology and Research.
Placements: In our university in year 2024, a third-year student hacked a server and got an off-campus offer from that company for package 88 LPA. During on-campus placement season, 40 LPA is the highest package of our university. The lowest package is 3 LPA.
Infrastructure: We are now staying in an outside campus hostel as we are in 1st year and 1st year boys hostel is under construction. For girls, there is a hostel on campus. Campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Medical facilities are also available in the university. There is also a playground for football, cricket, basketball, and badminton court.
Faculty: Exams are regular and decent level. In a complete year, you have to appear in 4 exams, 2 mid-semester examinations and 2 end-semester examinations. Some of the teachers are NIT qualified and well-trained. Every course curriculum is relevant and laboratory teachers are well trained and experienced.
Other: I chose information technology branch at Odisha University of Technology and Research at Bhubaneswar because I love technology and my brother suggested me to join this university. Now the auditorium building is under construction and it looks amazing with a new gate.

A good college with good faculty members and good placements but with a bad infrastructure.
Placements: Almost all students got placed, maybe high or lower package but all got placed. The average package is around 7 LPA. TCS came for mass recruitment. In our course, you can learn the software part of computers the operation system, object-oriented programming, java, cybersecurity, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not as great as it lacks in various ways. Our college still doesn't have a proper main gate and they aren't even working on it. Campus area is huge but it's unused. Most parts of the campus are filled with trees we might say jungle areas. Buildings are too old and require renovation.
Faculty: Teachers are good and knowledgeable, they help you in any situation. Their teaching quality is good too and it makes students industry-ready and semester exams are conducted strictly. But the passing rate is good. Just a few students get their year back and many get back. So, it is hard and strict.
Other: I chose this course to learn about OS and also due to my developing interest in coding, etc. Various events go on throughout the year in our college. The main cultural event is Xtasy and other than that many other technical, business, and other events are organized every year. In extracurricular activities also they help. I am a chess player and represent my college in various tournaments.

Review of Odisha University of Technology and Research.
Placements: Placements are decent with the majority of students bagging offers from IT MNCs like TCS, Wipro, Infosys. There are no core companies for the civil branch, but there's lots of opportunities for IT and CSE students as well as Mechanical and Electrical, with increasing placements each year.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our course is average; there are Wi-Fi facilities, but you can access only study-related things in it. No games, no recreational things, which is a bad thing according to me. The classes of IT and CSE are not equipped with AC, but slowly they are making the classes AC. For example, in 2024, civil classes will be equipped with AC. Hostels are well-maintained, with standard-quality food served in hostel and canteen.
Faculty: The faculty members of our college are really average in teaching as they adopt a very old way of teaching, and also the technology they teach is not up to date, so you need to be updating yourself from outside sources. The exams are held every 6 months, and they have a strict attendance policy of 75% to attend the exams.

Placements are decent, but the other aspects are not.
Placements: In our batch, 97% of students are placed with an average package of 7 to 8 Lacs per annum. The highest package of our branch recorded this year was 17.93 Lacs per annum by Cisco. Our top recruiters are Amazon, Cognizant, Deloitte, and Accenture. 70 to 80 percent of our students usually get internships.
Infrastructure: The facilities provided by our course are good enough. There is decent Wi-Fi connection around the classroom and hostel. The library is good; there is a sufficient amount of books in it. Students can borrow books using their library card. Hostel infrastructure is not so good. Three students share one room in our hostel, which is one of the boys' hostels. The food provided in the hostel is average. The doctor comes to the campus every three days in the week. The canteen is quite decent. There is one badminton court, a football playground, and a basketball court on our campus.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified and have average teaching quality. Some of the teachers are good and have good knowledge, not all (in our branch). The course is relevant, but students need to gain other important skills from other sources. It helps the students to make them industry-ready. The semester exams are of moderate level; the questions are a mixture of hard, easy, and medium-level questions. The pass percentage is good.

Placements are really good considering the course's low expenses.
Placements: We usually have around 97% of students placed in our course. The highest package offered last year was around 43 Lacs, while the lowest package was 3.5 Lacs. The average package usually ranges between 7-8 Lacs in our course. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Microsoft, D. Shaw, Maruti Suzuki, etc. Around 90% of our students get internships every year.
Infrastructure: Our college is well connected by Wi-Fi, which gives average speed inside the college campus. Labs are fully air-conditioned and clean. Classrooms are large enough to handle 70-80 students easily. There are two libraries where we get every type of book, basically from an engineering background. The food quality inside hostels is above average. Sports facilities include a basketball court, badminton court, football field, cricket field, and a volleyball court. There is a dispensary on our campus where the doctor comes twice a week and offers free and safe medicine.
Faculty: Our teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. But to be honest, most of the students don't like to learn in class; rather, they prefer YouTube to learn during exams or placements. Our course is a self-sustained course, and the placement it offers is quite commendable. Students are mostly industry-ready. The semester exams have an average difficulty level. The pass percentage in the semester exams is around 80-85%.
