Yes, as per NIE Mysore's official website, the institute offers a few seats for admission to the M.Tech programme via the management quota. In order to get a seat via this quota, students are first required to fill out the application form. Once the application is screened and reviewed, students are assigned an academic counsellor.

These counsellors further get in touch with the students/parents and guide them through the rest of the admission process. NIE Mysore has released its placement statistics for 2023. As per the official website, the the highest package and average package offered during placements 2023 stood at INR 56 LPA and INR 9 LPA, respectively. A total of 708 students were placed and 348 companies were visited during NIE Mysore placements 2023. Further,  more than 960 offers were made and more than 500 dream offers were recorded during placements 2023.

As per NIRF Rankings 2024 for the Engineering category, NIE Mysore's BE programme ranked #193. Earlier, in 2023, the institute was positioned #151-200 under the same category. Upon comparing both year's rankings, it can be said that the institute has been able to maintain a stable position.
