NIE Mysore provides a combined total of 254 seats for M.Tech under various engineering departments. The maximum intake is in Computer Science and Engineering with 120 seats. Specializations such as Civil, Mechanical, EEE, and AI & ML are also provided. There is a distribution of seats including regular and Management Quota seats.

NIE Mysore has not yet release the M.Tech cutoff for the current session. However, you can have a look at the previous year cutoff. As soon as the cutoff is announced by the institute it will be updated on the Shiksha page.

NIE Mysore accepts valid Karnataka PGCET scores for admission to its M.Tech programme. Apart from this, the institute's official website also mentions that students with a valid GATE score are also eligible to apply.

Students must also note that the institute offers few M.Tech seats under the management quota. However, the official website does not outline the management quota admission process. Thus, candidates seeking admission via management quota are advised to get in touch with the admissions committee directly.

As per the official website, the the highest package and average package offered during placements 2023 stood at INR 56 LPA and INR 9 LPA, respectively. A total of 708 students were placed and 348 companies were visited during NIE Mysore placements 2023. Further,  more than 960 offers were made and more than 500 dream offers were recorded during placements 2023.
