Overpriced and underwhelming, a wasted opportunity.
Placements: The placement percentage for IT students at UIT Bardwan tends to be on the higher side compared to other branches, often ranging from 10% to 20%. Some reviews even suggest 90 percent chance of placement through individual experiences. It may vary, it's important to note that these figures might include both on-campus and off campus placements.
Infrastructure: Houston Quarry is not so good because we have to equip Wi-Fi with our money offering shared drones based on the amenities. Common areas and food in the mess receive mixed reviews ranging from bad to good. The food is not good but oily while canteen food is slightly better for snacks. Medical facilities are available via the investing health center and proximity to our medical college. Sports are not encouraged with on campus facilities and the university playground is not very accessible.
Faculty: Semester exams at Ebay Badman are generally described as moderate to difficult while some papers can be passed by studying previous years questions other can be unpredictable and tough a key requirement for appearing in exams is maintaining a minimum of 75 perccent attendance to pass sessional or practical subjects its 50 percent exams is reported to be quite high around 70 to 19 to 95% in some accounts particularly if friends there to class nodes and faculty guidance.
Other: Value for money is low; fees are steep for what you get. Outdated labs, inconsistent Wi-Fi and curriculum that barely touches current industry trends. Placement stats are inflated and you are mostly on your own for profile skill development. Campus life is dead the crowd is uninspired and events are few and far between. There is zero real buzz connectivity is poor outside fixed labs and the surroundings are landscaped. Extracurricular activities are non existent unless you initiate everything yourself. Don't expect a vibrant college experience, it's just a degree. This place needs a serious overhaul.

Decent college with supportive faculty, but average infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Placement is below 20 percent in our course. The highest package was around 5 LPA, average around 2.5 LPA. Top recruiters included TCS and local firms. Few got internships in small companies with roles like web development and IT support. Core jobs were rare.
Infrastructure: The department has basic facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and a library. The hostel is average with limited amenities. Mess and canteen food are manageable. Medical support is minimal, and sports facilities are basic, with few regular activities.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and helpful, though teaching quality varies. The curriculum is somewhat relevant but not fully industry-ready. Semester exams are moderate in difficulty, and the pass percentage is generally around 70- 80%. Teachers are strict.
Other: I chose this course out of interest in the field. It offers good basics and moderate exposure. Curriculum and practical training need improvement. Fests and events are average, crowd is friendly and the campus has decent connectivity and surroundings.

Our college has a good placement rate.
Placements: Almost 60% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 25 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. Almost 80% of students got internships from our course in different companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Tesla, Amazon, etc.
Infrastructure: Our college provides good infrastructure and facilities. The hostel quality is not good. Our college management is not good. The food served in the mess and canteen is good. Medical facilities, sports, and games are not good.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are difficult. The pass percentage is 70%.

Faculty members are good. Infrastructure is decent.
Placements: Placement are decent. It all depends upon the students that which branch he/she has chosen because IT and CSE is performing very well while considering placement. From 2022 pass out batch, one among the senior got placed in MNC company with package 24 LPA. The average package for IT department is approximately 5 LPA.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is decent. While considering core branches, their labs are old and some modern equipments are missing. Campus is really big and adventurous. Hostels are good, staffs are cooperative but many of the time they are missing from their cabin.
Faculty: Faculty members are qualified and very experienced. Our HOD MA'am is cooperative and very strict. This nature makes her special for the students. All other teachers are cooperative too. Curriculum is relevant and is job oriented. Specially from 2nd year to 4th year.

A good institute to study engineering, fee is affordable too.
Placements: Very few campus placements were there for batch of 2014-18. The highest package was 5 Lacs per annum. While the lowest was 2.8 Lacs per annum which is not at all good. No internship is allowed in college as attendance even in 8th semester is more important for college administration. Even when students got internship opportunities themselves. They couldn't join.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility in college was not good. The hostel students have to buy own Wi-Fi from service providers. Labs are good and well-equipped. Mess facility is average in hostels. In library, all the books required for courses are available to students.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, but not that skilled. Some are very knowledgeable no doubt but some just reads the slides. Technologies being used in market are not known to them, they are still teaching old technology. Semester exams are not so difficult but its level is good.
Other: The latest technologies shall be introduced in the courses. Events are conducted in college like cultural fest, technical fest time to time. We have sports events as well as part of extracurricular activities. And every festival is celebrated and organized by students really well.
