This is the best college.
Placements: 250 students are placed in the academic year 2024 to 25, 25 companies visited. The highest package offered is 19.75 LPA. Top recruiters are TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, Bosch, IBM, Amazon, etc. They do focus more on career development classes in the 1st year.
Infrastructure: The campus is filled with greenery, and the classrooms are upto the mark. Canteen food is so good, and hostel food too. The library is so organized and fine. We do have a sports complex, and the best environment for it.
Faculty: Teachers are so good and friendly, most of the teachers are Ph.D. holders, their teaching qualities are upto the mark. Students are comfortable with teachers. Teachers mainly focus on career development related things and skills that students should be perfect for their future interviews.
Other: I chose ECE because it is a blooming industry in the current generation. There is nothing to improve in this. Dr. Ait conducts many events which highlight students talents, and a huge crowd will participate in this.

Good teaching and education with better infrastructure.
Placements: As an Embedded and VLSI Engineer, I have experience in software roles, including both development and testing. I have secured internships and other positions at leading companies such as TCS, IBM, Johnson & Johnson, Mew Sigma, Cognizant, and Bosch. The placement process is still in progress, and companies are continuing to visit.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is very good, with well-managed buildings, a study zone, a library, and a separate block for each department, as well as for the placement-related departments. The hostel is also good, with a high standard of hygiene and well-maintained facilities, offering hygienic and healthy food.
Faculty: Teachers are very enthusiastic about their work and help us in every situation. They are knowledgeable and make sure every student understands each topic clearly. The doubt-clearing sessions with the teachers are also good.
Other: Fests are organized where we can enjoy, and hackathons also take place.

The college's annual fee is low.
Placements: Campus placements offer competitive salaries ranging from 10 Lacs for top packages to 2.5-3 LPA for entry-level positions. Top companies like TCS and Infosys frequently recruit students from the college. However, diversifying the recruiter pool and improving job prospects would enhance placement outcomes. Economic conditions play a crucial role in determining placement success.
Infrastructure: The college is investing in its infrastructure, with several construction and renovation projects underway. The hostel fee is Rs. 90,000 per year, and it provides students with clean and secure accommodation. Nevertheless, the quality of food and strict curfew for female students are areas that need attention.
Faculty: The academic experience is diverse, with faculty members bringing different levels of passion to their teaching. While classroom instruction covers a significant portion of the syllabus (around 60-70%), students are expected to supplement their learning through independent study and group work. A proactive and disciplined approach is essential for academic success.

Relevant curriculum, good placements, supportive faculty, and a memorable college experience.
Placements: Around 85 percent of students from my batch got placed. The highest package is around 10 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA, and the average package stood at 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, and Capgemini. Some students also received internship offers from reputed startups. The most common roles offered are software developer, analyst, and QA engineer.
Infrastructure: The college has basic infrastructure with decent classrooms, a functioning library, and Wi-Fi access in certain areas. Labs are equipped but sometimes outdated. Hostel facilities are average, and the mess food is manageable. Upma and price items are regular. Sports and medical facilities are limited.
Faculty: The faculty in my college is well-qualified, experienced, and supportive. They explain concepts clearly and are approachable for doubts. The curriculum is updated and relevant to current industry needs. Semester exams are moderately tough, and the average pass percentage is around 90%. With regular study and attendance, students can easily perform well.

Life at Dr Ambedkar Institute of Technology.
Placements: Placement scenario is decent, with salary packages ranging from 18 LPA (the highest) to 2.5 LPA - 3 LPA (the lowest). Regular recruiters like TCS and Wipro are a plus. However, there's scope for improvement in terms of attracting more companies and better opportunities. Economic stability plays a significant role in placement prospects, so fingers crossed.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is a work in progress, with ongoing renovation aimed at enhancing facilities. The hostel, priced at Rs 90,000 per year, offers decent accommodation with clean rooms and robust safety measures. However, the food quality is mediocre, and the strict curfew, especially for female students (8:00 PM), might feel restrictive.
Faculty: Academic experience is a mixed bag, with faculty members comprising both enthusiastic and different instructors. Syllabus coverage is moderate, with around 60-70% of the material being taught in class. However, students are expected to take significant initiative, completing the remaining syllabus on their own and participating in group presentations. Self-motivation and discipline are essential to succeed.

Since according to last year's cutoffs, you can get into Telecommunication and Industrial Management and hardly mechanical engineering with OBC and your given rank through KCET. Since the cutoff has not fallen down much for KCET, I suggest you to go for other colleges. Best of luck.
