XIC OET 2026 Dates will be announced by the Xavier Institute of Communication (XIC) on the official website: xaviercomm.org. XIC is expected to conduct the XIC OET entrance exam 2026 from the first week of April 2026. The exam will be conducted on multiple days in online mode. The XET 2026 Application Form is expected to be released in the first week of March 2026.

The XET admission process consist of online test and Zoom interview. XET 2026 admit cards will be sent to applicants on their registered email IDs. XIC OET 2026 results and a final list of selected students will be announced in the first week of May 2026. Q:   What is the marking scheme of XIC Entrance Test?

According to the exam pattern of XET 2025, the total marks allotted to the test are 100. Each section (objective and subjective) will hold 50 marks. Each question in the objective section will hold 1 mark while the 50 marks allotted to the subjective section will be divided among 4 questions. There will be no negative marking in the test.

XIC Entrance Test (XET) 2026: List of Important Exam Events

Candidates can go through important exam events related to the XIC Entrance Test (XET) 2026 below. 

XIC Entrance Exam (XET) Application Form: Before filling out and submitting the application form, candidates will have to make sure they meet the qualifying requirements. The registration process will be done in online mode only.

As part of the registration process, candidates will have to provide their Statement of Purpose (SOP). If they qualify for the Zoom Interview stage, it could be brought up for discussion. Hence, candidates are advised to give sufficient thought while putting their SOP together.

XIC Entrance Exam (XET) Admit Card: Admit cards will be sent to candidates later on the E-mail ID mentioned in their registration form. If a candidate does not receive the admit card after the registration procedure they are advised to check their Junk/Spam Email Folders. Candidates are advised to preserve their admit cards carefully. The admit card will consist of the XIC OET exam centre details along with the candidate's name, date of birth and question paper information. Only this document will be accepted in all further transactions between them and XIC.

XIC Entrance Test (XET) Entrance Exam: The XIC Entrance Test (XET) 2026 entrance exam is expected to be conducted online from the first week of April 2026 on multiple days. Candidates can appear for the XET from home (or from wherever a candidate is located).

Personal Interview: XIC will conduct the "Live" Personal Interviews. The personal interview will be held at Bangalore, Kolkata, Guwahati, Delhi and Mumbai centres. Based on the scores in the online test and subjective paper, candidates will be called for a personal interview.

Candidates will have to be present on the date at the centre, selected while submitting the form. The venue and time will be intimated via email.

Results: The XIC OET Result final list of successful candidates will be announced in the first week of May 2026 on the website of the Xavier Institute of Communications.

Release of Wait List: The Wait List will be announced tentatively in the fourth week of May 2026 on the college website. The waitlist candidates will have to deposit their Course-designated fees within the prescribed time. The Procedure for payment of fees will be uploaded on the site.

Q:   When will the XIC Entrance Test (XET) 2025 exam be conducted?

XIC Entrance Test (XET) 2025 will be conducted on April 5, 6 and 13, 2025. Candidates can appear for the XET from wherever they are located (from home or an internet cafe). The date and time of XET will be mentioned in the XET admit card. These admit cards will be sent to applicants individually on their registered email IDs. 

Q:   How much time will I get to take XIC OET?
A: 

XIC OET is 2 hours long. Candidates will be given one hour to take the objective type questions and the other hour for the subjective ones.

Q:   When will the XIC Entrance Test (XET) 2025 result be declared?

A final list of selected students and XET 2025 results will be announced on May 5, 2025, by 4:00 pm on the official website - xaviercomm.org. Shortlisted candidates must pay their course's tuition fee by May 19, 2025 online on the same website. More information about the tuition fee payment will be available on the website only.

Q:   When should one start preparing for XIC Entrance Test (XET)?

Aspirants should start preparing for the examination at least four months before the test date. XIC Entrance Test (XET) preparation requires long-term planning thus one must start early. While preparing for the entrance test, aspirants must focus on memorising current events and solving reasoning and problem solving questions. 

Q:   What is the eligibility criteria to apply for XIC OET?
A: 

To apply for XIC OET, you must fulfil the following requirements - 

  • You must be 35 years or younger. 
  • You must have completed at least 3 years of graduation in a stream approved by the university (Arts, Commerce, Science, Computers, BMM, BMS, BE, Catering, etc.)
  • You can also be appearing for or awaiting results of the third year of your graduation programme.
Q:   When will the application process for the XIC Entrance Test (XET) start?

The registration dates for XET 2025 are March 1 to 31, 2025. Aspirants can apply online on the institute's website. The XET 2025 application form will cost them INR 2500 (inclusive of GST). Application fee payment can be made thrugh credit cards, debit cards, net banking or UPI. It is advised that the aspirants first check the eligibility requirements before applying. Undergraduate degree holders who are 35 years of age or younger are eligible.
