XET 2026 Pattern: The Xavier Institute of Communications (XIC) releases the Xavier's Entrance Test pattern 2026 at xaviercomm.org. The exam pattern includes sections, exam duration, mode of examination, and marks. As per pattern, the test will be a computer-based, online test that examinees can take from their homes or internet cafes. There will be both objective and subjective-type questions in the XET 2026 paper. The language medium of XET 2026 will be English. As per the institute's website, the test will be an hour long. Examinees will get 30 minutes to attempt each section. Both the sections will carry 50 marks each.

The objective-type questions will be based on Language Skills, General Knowledge and Knowledge of Media, and Logical and Analytical Skills. The questions in the subjective section will be media-related and designed to test students on their social values, creativity, writing skills, etc.

Once the XET entrance exam 2026 is over, the institute will release a list of selected candidates on the official website - xaviercomm.org. XIC Entrance Test (XET) Eligibility Criteria 2026

To be eligible for admission to Xavier Institute of Communications, a candidate must be of:

  • 35 years or below in age.
  • completed 3 years of Graduation (12+3 years) in a university-approved stream in India, including Arts, Commerce, Science, Computers, BMM, BMS, BE, Catering, etc.
    OR
  • appearing for the last semester or Third-year Graduation in the present academic year.

If a candidate is appearing for the last semester or third year graduation in the current academic session and gets selected for the XET course, he/she will get the PG Diploma certificate only if the candidate has completed the graduation and submitted the relevant attested Final mark-sheet of their graduation.

According to official website, the Xavier's Institute of Communication conducts the XIC OET entrance exam in English medium only. XIC forbids students from using slangs or short forms in entrance test. Any use of such words can result in disqualification.
