B.Com	Candidate passed 12th/equivalent from any recognized institute/board are eligible to apply.

Satellite Campus has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

BBA	Candidate must have passed 10+2 in any stream from a recognised educational board. Candidate appeared for 10+2 exam and is waiting for the result can also apply.
B.A.	Candidate must have passed 10+2 from a recognised board/ council.
B.Sc.	Candidate must have passed 10+2 examination with Science stream from a recognised board.

Government Polytechnic College, Leh has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

UG Diploma	Candidate must have passed Secondary School Examination (Matriculation/ 10th or equivalent examination) from a recognised statutory Board and must have obtained at least 40% marks in 10th class in case of being an open merit candidate and at least 37% marks in case of being a reserved category and have passed Science and Math subjects in 10th class examination. Candidate must have passed Secondary School Examination (Matriculation or equivalent examination) from a recognised statutory Board. Candidates appearing/appeared in 10th class examination up to the last date of submission of online applications can also apply. Candidate must be a resident of either UT of Jammu & Kashmir or UT of Ladakh. There is no upper age limit.
After 10th Diploma	Candidate must have passed Secondary School Examination (Matriculation/ 10th or equivalent examination) from a recognised statutory Board and must have obtained at least 40% marks in 10th class in case of being an open merit candidate and at least 37% marks in case of being a reserved category and have passed Science and Math subjects in 10th class examination. The campus life is really good at NIT Srinagar. The campus is located on the banks of the Jhelum River in Srinagar, Kashmir; scenic views and four distinct seasons. IIM Jammu offers admission to all its courses on the basis of both, merit and entrance scores. IIM Jammu accepts national-level entrance exams. The college accepts CAT, JEE Main, JEE Advanced, JIPMAT, GATE, etc. scores for admission to its courses.

The accepted entrance exams at University of Jammu are JKCET, JEE Main, and others. The mode of University of Jammu course admissions is online. Jammu University BTech admission to various courses is based on entrance exam scores, interview rounds,  and merit. The accepted entrance exams are JKCET, JEE Main,  CUET, and others. Candidates applying through CUET must first visit the official website and register for the CUET exam. Then, appear for the CUET exam. In the next step, students must apply on the Jammu University official website with valid scores. In the next step, students must take part in the interview and various other rounds involved in the Jammu University admission.

IUST (Islamic University of Science and Technology) is one of the best universities in the state of Jammu and Kashmir.

The university has a very beautiful campus with a massive infrastructure with a well trained teaching faculty and is recognised by UGC and AICTE and is also a member of AIU, which makes it great both in terms of academics and infrastructure.
