GNM	Candidate must be 17 years old and not more than 35 years old as on 31-12-2023. However, for Lateral entry to GNM courses, candidates having Diploma in FMPHW /MMPHW/ANM course registered with Jammu & Kashmir Paramedical Nursing Council be eligible for GNM course and there will be no age bar for such candidates. UG Diploma	Candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from recognised Board with Science Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) or Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (PCM) and English securing minimum 40 % marks in aggregate and medically fit. Candidates appearing in their final year of exam may also apply on provisional basis. Must not have crossed maximum age 35 years old on 01-01-2022.

Yes, students can get admission in NIT Srinagar without JEE Mains. But this is possible only for non-BTech programmes. To get BTech admission at any NIT, JEE Mains is mandatory. For courses, such as MSc, MTech, MBA, other exams are accepted. But for BTech, a student can't join NIT Srinagar without JEE Mains.

The University was established as the Central University of Jammu and Kashmir. It was established along with 15 other Central Universities by an Act of Parliament in 2009. Then, appear for the CUET exam. In the next step, students must apply on the Jammu University official website with valid scores. In the next step, students must take part in the interview and various other rounds involved in the Jammu University admission.
