A story about pursuing dreams: Tushar Sood
Born and brought up in a family of Charted Accountants, my parents expected me to follow the same field of business and management. However, they were also aware of my love for technology and machinery and as a result, I chose a different field from that of my family. After passing class 12th from a non-medical stream, I desired to do something different, which compelled me to look for a university where my talent could be highlighted. With the help of internet and friends, I learned about Chandigarh University and their highly recognized engineering programs. I wanted to learn from somewhere where my talent could be converted into a useful skill. My goal was to find a course and a university that withholds the potential of making me a useful asset and the same dream turned into reality when I chose Chandigarh University. The supposed reason for choosing Chandigarh University was their varied number of specialization programs under the major field which allowed me to have a clear vision for my future prospect. Thus, I got the privilege to be a specialized engineer with Mechatronics. The specialization helped me to explore my talent in depth and further to enhance my skills. My interest areas included Automation and Robotics which led me to represent CU and win commendable positions at IIT Mandi and also at CU's Engineer’s Day for 3D Printer project which I, myself along with my team created from the scratch. The project also allowed me to highlight my leadership and management qualities as I headed the project.
The university through their varied competitive programs allowed us as students to flourish in our domain and to explore our talent. The continuous attempt to engage the students in the practical and industrial exposure escalated my professional skills as well. The advanced technical way of teaching and the efficient faculty of our department always lead to a better understanding of our subject.
Apart from university’s academic expertise, they also ensured that the students are well engaged in the co-curricular activities as well. Therefore, through their high concern for the betterment of their student’s future, I got the chance of being an all-rounder as the university allowed me to expand my horizon by being an active part of Mime Acts, Modeling and securing my place among the top 30 for MTV Roadies. Later, I was also awarded the title of Model of the Year award under the same belt and I am now following my passion for sport by being a part of CU's American Football Team.
Further, being recognized to be an all-rounder by the university and considering my merit in the academic; the University accorded me with the scholarship as I had scored 86.7% in 12th. Further, by maintaining 7.9 CGPA throughout the session, the university also granted me to maintain the same in the third year as well. Learning at CU is not restricted to just books; I have been able to follow my interest area through practical application in various projects and competitions. Mechatronics is an amazing area of engineering and has a huge scope internationally.

Between Galgotias University and Chandigarh University, I would personally prefer Galgotias for CSE. One big advantage is its location in Greater Noida, close to Delhi-NCR, where students can get good exposure to internships, tech events, hackathons, and companies. The university also gives plenty o

If you're comparing LPU and Chandigarh University for B.Tech, the answer depends on what you're looking for as a student.
On paper, Chandigarh University currently holds a higher NIRF Engineering ranking, while LPU is also among the top-ranked engineering institutions in Punjab and India.

For BTech, the three are not exactly the same, but the core preparation overlaps heavily.
LPU NEST: Physics + Chemistry + Mathematics, with English depending on the programme. The syllabus is essentially Class 11–12 PCM level.
Chitkara: For regular BTech, Chitkara currently mainly uses Class 12 eligib

Honestly, both are decent for Mechanical Engineering. CU is a good college, but I wouldn’t say it’s automatically better than LPU. LPU also has strong engineering infrastructure, labs, industry exposure and plenty of opportunities beyond CSE, including Mechanical. I’d compare the faculty, labs, plac
