AP EAMCET 2018: Exam day checklist

Take a look at list of all the necessary things that students must carry to the AP EAMCET 2018 exam centre. Also, take a note of the key instructions that they must follow.

AP EAMCET is a national level engineering, agriculture and medical entrance examination which is conducted by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada  on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE).

Students who wish to secure admissions to undergraduate professional courses on offer in private colleges and universities in the state of Andhra Pradesh need to take this exam.

The Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance 2018 (AP-EAMCET 2018) exam is scheduled to be conducted between 10:00 A.M. and 1:00 P.M. from April 22 to April 25. Check AP EAMCET 2018 important dates here.

All the students who are going to appear AP EAMCET must be busy studying and revising to crack the exam tomorrow. So, in order to help the test takers save time and efforts, shiksha.com has prepared a list of all the necessary things that they must carry to the exam centre and the instructions that they must follow. The checklist is as follows:

  1. The candidates will not be allowed to take the examination even if they are late by 1 minute. So, it is advisable that the candidates report to the examination centre at least half an hour before the commencement of the exam.
  2. The candidates must carry their hall tickets to the examination centre tomorrow.
  3. The candidates must carry good quality Blue and Black ball point pens.
  4. The candidates must carry the “FILLED IN ONLINE APPLICATION FORM” in the examination hall tomorrow with a recent color photograph (3.5cms x 3.5cms) affixed  in the box provided (Bottom - Left side) on the form, and attested by a Gazetted Officer / Principal of the college where studied as they candidates will be required to submit it to the invigilator.
  5. Attested copy of Caste certificate (for SC/ST category candidates only): The candidates belonging to SC / ST category must carry the attested photocopy of the “CASTE CERTIFICATE” and the “FILLED IN ONLINE APPLICATION FORM” to the examination hall tomorrow as they will be required to submit it to the invigilator.
  6. The candidates must also carry a water bottle to the examination hall.

Besides the above mentioned things, aspirants are advised not to carry any other material to the examination hall which includes - Log books, Tables, Calculators, Pagers, Cell Phones. Please note that any aspirant found in possession of the above mentioned material will be sent out of the examination hall.

Also, aspirants will not be allowed to leave the examination hall before the exam ends. In case, if they are allowed, they would have to make sure that they return the OMR Answer Sheet to the Invigilator.

The candidates will be assigned ranking in order of merit on the basis of the combined score obtained by them giving 75% weightage to the marks obtained in AP EAMCET and 25% weightage to the marks secured in the relevant group subjects namely Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry of the qualifying examination. The AP EAMCET result date is yet to be declared by the conducting body.

With an Andhra Pradesh EAMCET rank of 60000, you could get admission at JNTUK if you belong to the General AI category and are aiming for the BTech CSE course. 

For this course, the last round cutoff ranged from 511 to 104620. Hence, getting admission to this course can be possible with a rank of 600
