IIIT Hyderabad BTech-MS Admission 2023: Eligibility, Fee, Seats, Cutoff

Admission to dual degree programmes at IIIT Hyderabad is done basis UGEE/ DASA/ Olympiad (KVPY)/ Class 12 board exams followed by a personal interview. PhD students can take the relevant courses in the first one or two semesters, depending on the background, just like a student of MS by research. After the first year, the student works on clearing the PhD qualifying exam which tests his or her breadth of knowledge in the field of study. To be eligible, candidates must have completed a relevant MPhil or master's degree course. Final selection to PhD at IIIT Hyderabad is subject to a valid score in one among PGEE/ Winter Research Entrance Test (WREE)/ GATE exam. Additionally, other selection rounds such as Written General Aptitude Test and a personal interview is also conducted to finalise the students before offering them admission.

Goimg as per the last three year trends, IIIT Hyderabad is expected to conduct BTech counselling based on JEE Main scores upto Round 4 or 5. The two BTech specialisations offered by IIITH through JEE Main are B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering and B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering. The International Institute of Information Technology - Hyderabad (IIIT-H) residential institute, meaning all admitted students must reside on campus.
