The authorities must have kept your result withheld for the following reasons -
- Incorrect photo and signature specifications - Not following the guidelines issued by the authorities.

No, the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering examination takes place once a year. Every year, different IITs and IISc conduct exam on rotational basis. GATE is conducted online for three hours for 30 branch papers.
GATE counselling 2026 will be conducted by COAP and CCMT, which will be done by respective IITs and IISc on rotational basis.

GATE 2026 Defect Rectification Window
On March 11, IIT Guwahati has activated a facility for all registered applicants offering a one-time opportunity to correct their details mentioned in the GATE application form 2026. A separate email was also sent to such candidates. The last date to rectify the information was March 15.
