GATE 2026 Cutoff for IIITs: Candidates who want to apply at the Indian Institutes of Information Technology can check GATE IIIT cutoff 2026 here. Expected GATE 2026 Cutoff for IIITs
Based on the previous GATE cutoff 2026 trend analysis, here are the expected IIIT GATE cutoff scores to be acceptable at top, mid, and new institutions. For such institutes, candidates have to register directly on their official website. IIIT Hyderabad conducts its own entrance exam. Registrations are open and last date to submit form is March 31. Indian Institute of Technology released GATE cutoff 2026. The IITG GATE 2026 result has been declared. The conducting body releases the exam result and cutoff for all 30 subjects. The highest GATE cutoff score for NIT M.Tech admission typically ranges from 800 to 850 in the first round. Some of the top NITs include NIT Surathkal, NIT Trichy, and NIT Warangal, accept admissions with GATE score 800 above for branches like EC, CS, ME, and EE.
Qualified candidates have to register at the CCMT portal to participate in the GATE counselling. The counselling process will begin in June/July.
GATE counselling 2026 will be conducted by COAP and CCMT, which will be done by respective IITs and IISc on rotational basis.

- Through CCMT, students will be offered admission to NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs.

If your GATE score is low, under 500, then you can opt for new IIITs like IIIT Manipur, IIIT Agartala, IIIT Kota, etc. Also, CCMT often conduct spot rounds to fill up vacant seats. Look for interdisciplinary branches, which are less competitive than CSE and DA.
