The University conducts its own entrance exam – LPUNEST(National Entrance & Scholarship Test). The exam is a gateway for admissions to some of the programmes offered by the University including Engineering/BTech Programmes. It also makes an aspirants eligible for scholarship for most of the programmes. Every year more than lakhs of students take the exam and according to sources, it is the fifth largest entrance test conducted in India.
Generally the communication of universities and other educational institutions talk about infrastructure, campus life, facilities, students’ strength and their placement record. However, Lovely Professional University has taken a fresh approach for its latest creative. Essentially a story of two friends, this creative shares how the friends make different choices in their career, yet they stay connected. It meaningfully depicts how their individual choices impact them in their respective careers. By the end of this engaging creative, an emphatic message is delivered to the youth - “Think Big”.
The creative has been designed for simplicity and impact. Its lilting original track “Ek hee rang ke do dhaage...” anchor its emotions and serve as a personally relevant message to all Indian youth with hopes and dreams in their hearts, regardless of where they are from.
LPU Chancellor Ashok Mittal informs: “At LPU, we always guide students to push beyond boundaries and aim for the best. To achieve this the most important aspect is to always think big, do big and achieve big. We wanted to communicate this thought to all of our youth in a unique way and the result is in this wonderful creative . I am happy to share that this creative has been immensely liked by the youth of India.”
He added: “India's youth has changed profoundly. It is all about start-ups and becoming job creators today. Our communication universalises this idea and has come forward to motivate students to be job creators instead of being mere job-seekers. In fact, we had an option to put forward how LPU does it by talking about various events and entrepreneurship projects undertaken to lead students to think big. However, we preferred the story-telling way to reach to the heart and mind of each individual student, and worked on inspiring story of two friends to communicate this idea through. We have shown here how a decision impacts one’s future".

Both can be good options for an MBA, but the better choice depends on what you are looking for.
Doon Business School may suit students who prefer a more focused business-school environment and a relatively smaller campus setting.
LPU can be worth considering if you want a larger university environment
