The Lovely Professional University conducts the National Entrance and Scholarship Test, also called LPU NEST to shortlist candidates for admission to its various UG and PG courses courses. LPU NEST Eligibility Criteria 2027

Before filling the application form for admission to BTech Programs at Lovely Professional University, candidates need to fulfil the following LPUNEST eligibility criteria.

Nationality: LPUNEST is open to candidates of all nationality

Qualifying Examination: Applicants must have passed/appearing in class 12 exam in the year of taking LPUNEST

Eligibility Criteria in the Qualifying Examination: Candidates must have secured a minimum 60% marks in class 12 or equivalent with Physics, Mathematics and English) subjects

Note: For B.Tech. Biotechnology (BT), B.Tech. (Food Technology), B.Tech. (Biomedical Engineering) Subjects considered are Physics, Chemistry, English & either Maths or Biology or Biotechnology; other conditions remain the same. For B.Tech. The result is announced within 48 hours after candidates appear in test. The scorecard of candidates are sent to candidates in their registered email ID after the exam concludes. Candidates who do not recieve their scorecard in email can download it from the website after 3 working days of the exam.

LPUNEST 2027 Counselling

LPUNEST counselling 2027 is conducted online as well as offline. All candidates who qualify the exam will have to pay the fee in online mode or manually by visiting the university campus. The LPU NEST counselling procedure comprises various stages like downloading the scorecard, filling out the seat preference, seat allotment, fee deposition, completing the admission form, uploading required documents, document verification, balance fee deposition.

Scholarships based on LPU NEST performance

Taking the LPU NEST 2027 exam helps candidates to earn scholarships. The overall course fee will be reduced depending on the score of the candidates in the entrance test. LPU generally divides the candidates into four categories to give scholarships. The LPU NEST scholarship is for the whole duration of the course.

Category A: Candidates who get the highest LPU NEST marks are considered category A students. They get a fee waiver of 60 %.

Category B: Candidates who score above average. They get 50 % fee waiver.

Category C & D: Candidates who score mid to average scores. Category C students get a fee waiver of 40 %, and Category D students get a waiver of 30 %.
