Q:   How many students can do B.Tech at Guru Kashi University?
A:

Determining the exact number of students enrolled in B.Tech. programs at Guru Kashi University (GKU) can be challenging due to the lack of readily available and consistently updated official data. However, I can offer some insights based on various sources: Firstly, according to the university's website, GKU offers B.Tech programs in multiple disciplines such as computer science, mechanical engineering, and electrical engineering. Additionally, discussions with current students and alumni suggest that the B.Tech programs at GKU are highly sought after and attract a significant number of applicants each year.

Estimates:

  • Total student strength: GKU claims to have a total student strength of 7,000+ students across various courses. While this doesn't directly translate to B.Tech students,  it suggests a sizeable student body,  indicating a potentially significant number of B.Tech students as well.

  • Number of B.Tech courses: GKU offers B.Tech programs in 8 specializations: Computer Science and Engineering,  Electrical Engineering,  Mechanical Engineering,  Petro Chemical and Petro Refinery Engineering,  Civil Engineering,  Electronics and Communication Engineering,  Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning,  and Computer Science with Data Science.

  • Intake per specialization: Based on student reviews and information on websites like Shiksha,  the intake for each B.Tech specialisation at GKU might range from 60-70 seats per year.

Calculating a rough estimate:

  • Assuming an average intake of 65 students per specialisation and 8 specializations,  the potential number of B.Tech students at GKU could be around 520 (65 students per specialisation * 8 specializations).

  • This is just an estimate,  and the actual number might be higher or lower depending on several factors like actual intakes,  student dropouts,  and new admissions after the first year.

Recommendations:

  • Contact the GKU Admissions Office: For the most accurate and current information on the number of B.Tech students and specific intakes for each specialization,  the best approach is to directly contact the GKU Admissions Office.

  • Consider specific specializations: If you're interested in a particular B.Tech. specialization,  inquire about the exact intake for that program. This will give you a better understanding of the competition and availability of spots in your desired specialization. Additionally, it is important to note that the number of intakes for each specialisation may vary from year to year based on the demand and resources available.

Remember, the provided information is an approximation based on available data and might not be completely accurate. For the most reliable figures, contacting GKU directly is strongly recommended. By reaching out to the GKU Admissions Office, you can obtain the most up-to-date and accurate information regarding the number of B.Tech. students and specific intakes for each specialization. It is important to note that the provided information is an estimate based on available data, so contacting GKU directly will ensure you have the most reliable figures.
