It provides a robust academic environment.
Placements: Since I am a first-year undergraduate student, so I don't know how these things happen. Majorly, all big FAANG companies visit our college in the placement drives. The highest package offered is 52 LPA this year by Google. So it is good in our college. It is our choice to go for technical or non-technical placements.
Infrastructure: The entire campus, including hostels and the academic blocks, is Wi-Fi enabled with a decent amount of speed. Classrooms are air-conditioned. Laboratories are also well-equipped with advanced technical instruments (some of the laboratories). The food quality is good in the mess of BH1.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful (not all). The course curriculum is designed as per the new education policy in our branch, and it's our choice whether we want to take the minor degree or not in some other field of interest. Exams difficulty level is moderate.

This College Provides Support Facilities.
Placements: The placement percentage of the Electrical department is approximately 90%, sometimes reaching 95%. The highest package is 52 Lacs in Google by an Electrical student. The average package oscillates around 13-14 Lacs. Not having accurate data for the lowest package, the top recruiting companies are Google, Microsoft, Samsung, Flipkart, TCS, Amazon, Infosys, Hero, and many more companies visit every year. More than 50% of students get a good internship in top companies. This year, I remember one boy and one girl from Electrical who got internships in Google and Microsoft.
Infrastructure: The facilities are good enough on our campus, but the institute is working to make better infrastructure. At present, it is at a moderate level. Free Wi-Fi is available in all campus areas. Labs have modern instruments. Both classrooms and the library are digital. The quality of the facilities in our hostel is fine. The food is moderate; you will get delicious food for 3 or 4 days, but for the rest of the days, you will get decent food. The college provides healthcare facilities at a basic level; for serious cases, you need to go outside the campus. In the hostel, you will get indoor sports like table tennis, chess, carrom, volleyball, and badminton. On campus, there are sports grounds for cricket, football, lawn tennis, volleyball, basketball, and kabaddi.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful and have good qualifications and knowledge. But the teaching quality is decent. Yes, the course is relevant, and along with study, they give practical knowledge also. The semester exam is not that tough; it's easy to score passing marks. At the end of the semester, you have to score a minimum of 40 marks out of 100: 30 marks for the mid-semester, 50 marks for the end-semester, and 20 marks for internal assessments
Other: I took this branch because you will get two routes in this branch. The first one is that you can go for core, and the other is that you can prepare yourself for teaching. You will get good and enough events and fests. The events and fests are Bharat Dhwani, Utkansh, Bathukamma, Virasat-e-Punjab, and many more.

Overall worth the fees. College with decent placement.
Placements: The placement percentage of the current passed batch was about 95 percent. The highest package offered was 52 LPA by Microsoft and the average package was about 12 lacs. The companies that recruited students included Google, Oracle and Microsoft as well as some core companies.
Infrastructure: The hostels are newly constructed and have good facilities. Each room has a LAN connection and each corridor has Wi-Fi routers which ensures high-speed internet. The classrooms are fully air-conditioned and have smart boards and projectors. The library has good seating so students can study even late at night. The college has its own medical facilities that are available 24 hours a day. Ambulances are also available in case of emergencies. The college focuses on sports, so there are numerous indoor and outdoor sports facilities for students. Canteens are also located on campus.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified in their subjects. They focus on the students and teach not just to complete the course but also to impart knowledge. The students are exposed to the industry through labs which enables them to gain practical knowledge. The semester exams are a bit tough, but regular study can help students earn good grades.
Other: I got this course based on my JEE rank. Electrical Engineering has a great scope especially with the semiconductor industry poised to grow in the coming years. However, the course needs to focus more on practical and experiential knowledge rather than theoretical knowledge. The college has two fests, one cultural and one technical, and numerous other celebrations on campus.

My college review- NIT Jalandhar.
Placements: Hello
1. In my course, our seniors (2024 batch) placed approximately 90%.
2. The highest package of electrical this year is 30 LPA and the lowest is 5.50 LPA.
3. The top recruiting companies are Microsoft, Oracle, PSU, etc.
4. I have some little idea about internships but I know that some little students got internships.
5. Mainly students got an offer from tech companies and the rest got placed in core work.
Infrastructure: 1. I am currently studying in my 3rd year and I know about mega boys hostels and boys hostels (1st year). Facilities like WI-FI are satisfactory; sometimes problems arise, but total network stability is good. The classroom and library are very good. I am fully satisfied with such a type of facility. Every lab and classroom have AC facilities.
2. Food quality is decent, canteen facilities are quite good, and snacks in the night canteen and snacks are very good.
Faculty: 1. Faculty are well qualified but some faculty members have bad behavior with students. Some old-age teachers do not behave politely but it can be handled by us after respecting them. The main problem is also not giving the marks in the final exam; it is a basic problem for us.
2. The course curriculum is 90% relevant. In 1st year, basic electrical was for all the branches except us (we are electrical students).
3. The difficulty level is 7/10; some exams are very tough and some are very easy; the overall difficulty level is good.
Other: 1. I got this course after JoSAA counselling. I studied about this course properly and now I am okay with it.
2. Improvable area: how teachers behave and the marking system.
3. Events: UTKANSH, TECHNITI, BHARAT DHAVANI, etc.

Electrical Engineering in NITJ.
Placements: Almost all students after fifth semester get internship in our college in our branch. The electrical engineering branch has one society name SEED society which also helps us in placement. Our alumni is very highly placed and they often help us during placements. The college often conducts seminars with various companies for career in it sector and most of the students get the opportunity to get pre placmen offer ppo.
Infrastructure: Two well stocked library is there in our college and there books of all kinds are available in the library. Professors and teachers help us by providing the teaching material by providing it in google classroom and they often take quizzes to ensure proper learning is taking place. Coming to t\hostel. The quality of mess food is not very much good, you can say it to as average.
Faculty: The marks distribution of our college is three exams are conducted first in minor exam which is conducted for 20 marks then minor 2 which is conducted for 20 marks and after that end semester examination which is conducted for 50 marks. Scoring good marks is possible only in end semester examination.

Core and IT Electrical Branch Placement.
Placements: Electrical Engineering is the only branch of NIT Jalandhar that has good placement in both core companies as well as in IT sector. Around 95% is the placement percentage chances of the students are there in electrical engineering. Our students are working with big companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Walmart. Many students of our branch has also cracked GATE examination and they scored good rank some of them has gained the rank under ten in GATE exam ad now working in psu of electrical engineering branch.
Infrastructure: Earlier our lab classes were took place along with electronic and communication engineering students but now we have separate building and separate lab where experiments for our branch takes place. It was located in the main administrative building of NIT Jalandhar where director sir sits. Our new building construction is on the way and it will be constructed very soon.
Faculty: In first semester we were having 9 subject and in second semester we have 8 subject and in third semester we have 5 subject and it wll be same till third year and they subject will decrease and lab work will increase. Professors are highly professional and they had also secured rank in Ph.D. articles publication. Our professors where getting rank in Asian Engineering college rank survey too.
Other: In my batch 30 students were enrolled.

Electrical branch's placement reality in NIT Jalandhar.
Placements: Being in electrical engineering branch of NIT Jalandhar is a pride on our college. Electrical engineering branch is one of the oldest and popular branch that offers decent packages and salary across country. This is the same case in NIT Jalandhar. Electrical engineering branch offers placement more than 51 LPA and placement situations is around 88% every year in our college. The highest package that our department got is 1 crore off campus and average package is 13 LPA which is quite good and decent. NIT Jalandhar has very rich and active alumina network. No ragging takes place in our college and so much quill and zest is there n our college. Most of the students got lacked in it companies and very few of them were placed in core companies. Most recruiting companies for electrical branch is oracle, google, Microsoft, amazon, goldman sachs. Our placement rate is better than other branches excluding CSE. Also top rankers of the JEE Main got admission our course.
Infrastructure: Our college does not have a very big area. The college is made like a circle. You can roam around circle and you will be back to the same position. Our college has various buildings, some are modern and some are old. Modern architecture includes it department, computer Science and engineering department, instrumentation and control department, electrical department, electronics and communication department, data Science and structure department. Our college is green lush area and most beautfully located between Jalandhar Amritsar highway.
Faculty: Teachers of my department are very helpful and supportive, they will tell you one day before the exams the important topics that are coming in exam, so that you can score well and become eligible CGPA for campus placements. Also industry exposure is there in our course. Most of the professors are Ph.D. qualified and UGC exam qualified. Labs are good all facilities and machines are available. They guide us how to grab placements in core as well non core. Our syllabus is designed in such a way that student need not to do extra coding course, it is already there in our course.
Other: I chose this course because it has excellent placement record and students were getting placed n it companies which is the dream of many students. All students here are JEE Main qualified and they are hardworking so we get good environment here for study as well as sports. All students often help each other during bad times. The college has two fest utkansh and techniti and often event takes place in our college.

Electrical branch NIT Jalandhar.
Placements: Placement of electrical branch is quite good. Most of the top companies like google, microsoft, paytm, deloitte allow electrical engineering student. The placement rate of our branch is 67% in 2023 and 88% in 2022. average package is 12 LPA. The highest package is 31 LPA by google and the lowest package is 6lpa.
Infrastructure: NIT Jalandhar has both modern as well as old architecture. The hostels are average. The most fascnited building of our college is it building. Which is the heart of our college. New girls hostel is created mgh this year. The department buildings of civil, chemical, textile and biotchnology are old and electrical, ice, CSE, it ECE has new building with all facilities.
Faculty: The professors of our branch is good. Our syllabus is also good and with the latest development trends. The lab of our department are also working condition. Most of the professors are highly qualified and few of them are M.Teach holders. The syllabus is purely based on the demands with the industry.
Other: Techniti, utkanshi are fests.
