Scholarships are available from VBSPU to applicants from low-income households. They receive scholarships to help with their financial needs and to motivate them to continue their education. VBSPU Jaunpur offers scholarships on the basis of merit which varies from course to course. It also offers relaxation in tuition fees which is also given to position holders of qualifying examinations/ competitive exams and university examinations. Candidates must note that exam pattern (questions) are different for some papers. Make sure to check properly. IIT Guwahati will conduct GATE 2026 exam in two sessions. 

Paper 1 has 75 questions where Physics Chemistry and Mathematics, each section has 25 questions. Out of 25 questions, 20 are MCQs and five are numerical value questions. You must answer all 5 numerical value-type questions. All 20 multiple-choice questions are compulsory. Complete all 75 questions in 3 hours.
