
IBPS RRB Notification 2025: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) released the IBPS RRB official notification PDF for PO, Clerk & SO posts. A total of 13217 vacancies were announced for IBPS RRB exam. IBPS RRB application form was available from September 1 to 21, 2025. IBPS RRB exam dates 2025 were announced. The prelims exam of IBPS RRB PO was conducted on November 22 and 23, 2025. IBPS RRB Clerk prelims exam will be conducted on December 5, 7, 13 and 14, 2025. IBPS RRB PO mains exam will be conducted on December 28, 2025. IBPS RRB Clerk mains exam will be conducted on February 1, 2025. The single online exam will be conducted on December 28, 2025.

IBPS RRB Notification 2025
IBPS RRB is a national-level banking exam for recruitment of Group A-Officers (Scale-I, II & III) and Group B-Office Assistant (Multipurpose). Depending on the vacancies as per the business needs of the Regional Rural Banks, candidates shortlisted are provisionally allotted to one of the Regional Rural Banks keeping in view the merit-cum-preference. For Officers Scale 2 candidates should be above 21 years and below 40 years. For Officer Scale-II- they should be above 21 years old and below 32 years old. For Officer Scale I- above 18 years old and below 30 years old. The educational qualification prescribed for exam is graduation.
The application fee for IBPS RRB exam is INR 850 for General and OBC candidates and INR 175 for SC/ST/PWD categories. Applicants need to pay the application fee online only.
IBPS RRB Exam Pattern
IBPS RRB exam is conducted online. IBPS RRB exam pattern is different for prelims and mains exam. Each paper will have objective type multiple-choice questions. The language of question paper is set in both English and Hindi. There is also negative marking for wrong answers. For each incorrect answer, 0.25 marks are deducted. The standard of IBPS RRB syllabus is of graduation level.

The single online exam is conducted for the posts of Officers Scale 2 & 3 . The Interview carries 100 marks and is conducted for the posts of Officers Scale 1, Officers Scale 2 & 3. There is no interview for the post of Office Assistant (Multipurpose).
IBPS RRB Clerk exam pattern is divided into prelims and Mains exams. The prelims exam carries 80 marks. The Mains exam carries 200 marks. There are negative markings in both prelims and Mains exams. In order to appear for IBPS RRB exam, candidates need to carry one photo-identity proof to the exam centre. IBPS RRB eligibility criteria is prescribed by the examination authority separately for different posts. The basic educational qualification for IBPS RRB exam is graduation. However, the educational qualification vary post-wise. The post-wise age limit for IBPS RRB exam is given below:
For Officer Scale- III (Senior Manager): Above 21 years-Below 40 years i.e. candidatesshould not have been born earlier than 03.06.1983 and later than 31.05.2002 (both dates inclusive)
For Officer Scale- II (Manager): Above 21 years - Below 32 years i.e. candidatesshould not have been born earlier than 03.06.1991 and later than 31.05.2002 (both dates inclusive)
For Officer Scale- I (Assistant Manager): Above 18 years - Below 30 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 03.06.1993 and later than 31.05.2005 (both dates inclusive)
For Office Assistant (Multipurpose): Between 18 years and 28 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 02.06.1995 and later than 01.06.2005 (both dates inclusive)
The upper age limit is relaxed for candidates belonging to reserved categories.
