IBPS RRB Exam Centres 2023: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) activated the window to change IBPS RRB prelims exam centres for Officers Scale 1 and Office Assistant (Multipurpose). This facility was available for candidates who opted Imphal (Manipur) as centre for prelims exam. The option to change IBPS RRB exam centre for Officer Scale 1 was available from August 1 to 3, 2023. The option to change exam centre for Office Assistant (Multipurpose) was available from August 7 to 10, 2023. Candidates are allocated IBPS RRB exam centres as per their choice.

IBPS RRB exam centres 2023 for prelims and mains was released along with the notification. The prelims exam of IBPS RRB is conducted at more than 170 cities while the mains exam is conducted at more than 70 cities. IBPS releases the list of exam cities along with the notification, however, the details related to the exam centre are mentioned in the admit card. Candidates are required to their preferred IBPS RRB exam centres 2023 while applying for the exam. There is a facility to choose one exam city each for prelims and mains exams. IBPS RRB exam centres are allotted to candidates as per their preferences. However, in case of unavailability of the exam centres chosen by candidates then they are allotted to some other centre.

IBPS RRB exam is conducted to select eligible candidates for the posts of Officers Scale I, II, III and Office Assistant. Candidates selected through IBPS RRB exam are offered to the participating Regional Rural Banks.

Q:   What photo-identity proofs can I carry to the IBPS RRB exam centre?

A:

In order to appear for IBPS RRB exam, candidates need to carry one photo-identity proof to the exam centre.  Candidates must bring valid photo identity proof such as PAN Card/Passport/ Permanent Driving License/Voter’s Card with photograph/Bank Passbook with photograph/Photo Identity proof with photograph issued by a Gazetted Officer (on official letterhead)/Photo Identity proof issued by a People’s Representative along with a photograph (on official letterhead)/Identity Card issued by a recognised College/ University/Aadhar/E-Aadhar Card with a photograph / Bar Council Identity card with photograph /Employee ID). Ration Card and Learner’s Driving License are not accepted as valid ID proof. Along with the photo-identity proof, candidates need to bring two passport-size photographs.

A:

Some of the IBPS RRB exam day guidelines are given below:

  • Candidates must note the date, time, and address of the exam given in the IBPS RRB admit card
  • Candidates must visit IBPS RRB exam centre one day before the exam to confirm the location and reach exam centre on time
  • Latecomers will not be allowed to enter the exam centre
  • Candidates must bring the admit card to the examination centre along with recent passport size photograph duly pasted on it. Candidates need to paste one photograph on the admit card and one photograph they need to bring to the exam centre
  • Candidates are not allowed to use calculators, books, notebooks or written notes, cell phones, or any other electronic device
  • Candidates are required to bring the authenticated prelims admit card and photo-identity proof along with the Mains admit card to the exam centre
  • Candidates must bring additional passport-size photographs or else they will not be allowed to appear for the exam
  • Any stationery items such as bits of paper, geometry/pencil box, plastic pouch, calculator, scale, writing pad, pen drives, log table, electronic pen/scanner
  • Any communication device such as bluetooth, earphones, microphone, pager, health band etc. is not allowed
  • Other items such as goggles, handbags, hair-pin, hair-band, belt, cap, watch/wrist watch, Camera, metallic item, eatable items opened or packed are not allowed
  • Candidates are advised not to wear ornaments such as rings, earrings, nose-pin, chains/necklaces, pendants, badges, brooch, etc.
 

Q:   What are the guidelines related to COVID-19 for IBPS RRB exam?

A:

IBPS RRB exam day guidelines related to COVID-19 are given below:

  • Candidates are required to report at the exam centre as per the time slot mentioned on the admit card
  • Candidates are required to report atleast 15 minutes before the reporting time
  • Mapping of ‘Candidate Roll Number and ‘Lab Number’ will not be displayed outside the exam venue
  • Candidates need to wear masks while appearing for the exam
  • They are allowed to carry a personal transparent water bottle
  • Candidates can carry personal hand sanitiser of 50 ml
  • Candidate should maintain a safe social distance from one another
  • Candidates must have Aarogya Setu app installed on their mobile phones
  • Candidates' registration will be done through photo capture
