RBI Grade B Cutoff
RBI Grade B cutoff marks are released along with the scorecard in PDF form. The cutoff is released for individual sections and categories. Phase 1 is the screening stage and the marks obtained in this stage are not considered for the final merit list. However, candidates need to meet RBI Grade B cut off of this stage to proceed for the further rounds of selection. RBI Grade B previous year cut off for Phase 1, 2 & Final selection will help candidates to understand the minimum number of questions that they need to attempt from the individual sections and an overall exam. Candidates must have a proper knowledge of RBI Grade B Cut off if they are preparing for the exam, as the final selection depends on the cut off marks.

Types of RBI Grade B Cut off
RBI basically announces two types of cut off marks for RBI Grade B exam. Candidates are required to secure the following types of cut off marks in the exam:
RBI Grade B Overall Cut off: The overall cut off marks are calculated out of the total marks allotted to the exam. The overall cut off marks for the prelims exam are calculated out of 200 marks. The overall cut off for mains exam is calculated out of 300 marks. The overall cut off marks for the final selection is calculated out of 375 marks (Phase 2 and Interview).
RBI Grade B Sectional Cut off: The sectional cut off marks are calculated out of the total marks allotted to each section. Candidates are required to secure the sectional cut off marks in the prelims exam.

RBI Grade B cut off for Phase II is released after the completion of the selection process. The cut off is fixed out of 300 marks for General post whereas it is 200 for DEPR/DSIM.
RBI Grade B Cut off for Final Allotment
The final allotment cut off is the aggregate marks scored in Paper I, II, and III and Interview taken together for General Post. The cut off is calculated out of 375 marks. RBI Grade B final cut off marks for DEPR/DSIM are decided based on Phase II and Interview.

Commonly asked questions
RBI Grade B exam is conducted in three phases I, II, & III. Phase I is based on General Awareness, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning. In Phase 2, there are three papers: Economic and Social Issues, English, and Finance & Management. The final selection of the candidates is based on an interview. Phases I and II carriers 200 and 300 marks, respectively. The interview carries 75 marks. The duration for Phase 1 is 120 minutes. Phase 2 has a different time duration: Paper I & III are conducted for 120 minutes, and Paper III for 90 minutes.
