RPF SI Answer Key 2024 Out: PDF Download Response Sheet, Question Papers

RPF SI answer key is released in two stages.

RPF SI Provisional Answer Key

The provisional answer key is released so that candidates can raise objections if they find any mistake in the answers. 

RPF SI Final Answer Key

The final answer key is released after reviewing the objections submitted by the candidates. The objections submitted by candidates are reviewed by the experts. If the objections are found to be correct, the examination authority revises the answers and publish the final answer key. 

Candidates can raise an objection if any against the answer key. The objection can be filed online on the official website of RPF SI. To submit the challenges, candidates need to pay INR 50 for each objection. Here is how candidates can raise an objection against the answer key:

• Go to the official website
• Select the 'view answersheet' option
• Choose the group 
• Fill the roll number, date of birth, date of exam, batch and captcha code in the login window
• When the objection window is generated, enter question number, category, objection related to the question
• Click on the 'make payment' button
• Click 'yes' if you are ready for payment'
• The process will be complete only after fee payment

The important instructions related to RPF SI answer key are given below:

• In the question paper view, the correct alternative is highlighted in green and the answer is highlighted in blue
• Enter question number against which objection has to be raised
• You have to enter an objection against a question in the objection field
• Click on add objection button to raise objections
• Objections must be entered in English only
• Objections can be raised only against questions and their alternatives
• You have to select the relevant category of objection
• Objections once submitted cannot be edited later
• Once submitted, new objections cannot be added
• For each objection raised and submitted candidates need to pay Rs 50 plus the bank charges
• If the objection is found to be correct then the amount paid and bank charges against the respective objection will be refunded

RPF SI exam is conducted in multiple shifts, as a result of which, there is are variations in the difficulty level of question papers. To adjust the variations in the difficulty level of question papers across various sessions, normalisation of marks is done. The normalisation is done using the standardised formula. 

For correct answers, candidates score one mark. 1/3 marks are deducted for wrong answers. The formula to calculate the scores is given below:

Total score= (Number of Right answers) x 1 – (Number of incorrect answers) x 1/3

The details regarding the marking scheme is explained below:

• There are 120 questions in total and each question is for one mark
• The maximum score is 120
• For each correct answer, a candidate is awarded one mark
• And for each incorrect answer, there is a deduction of 1/3 marks
• There is no deduction of marks for unattempted questions
