RPF SI Preparation 2024: Railway Protection Force (RPF) of the Ministry of Railways releases RPF SI notification for recruitment of Sub-Inspectors (SI) in Level 6 of 7th CPC in Railway Protection Force (RPF) and Railway Protection Special Forces (RPSF) in various zones of Indian Railways. The selection of the candidates is based on the computer-based test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Measurement Test (PMT), and Document Verification. RPF SI Exam Pattern
The Computer-Based exam of RPF SI comprises three sections: General Awareness, Arithmetic, and General Intelligence & reasoning. The standard of questions will be of graduation level. Each question carries one mark and 1/3 mark will be deducted as a penalty for wrong answers. Candidates need to obtain 35 per cent (30 per cent for SC and ST candidates) to qualify the exam. The duration of the test is 90 minutes. The test paper will have a total of 120 questions.

RPF SI exam pattern is such that it comprises CBT 1, PET/PMT, Document Verification and Medical Exam. The CBT comprises three sections. The standard of questions is of graduation-level. Each question carries one mark and there is also negative marks. Candidates are required to obtain 35 per cent marks (30 per cent marks by SC and ST candidates) to qualify the CBT. Questions in the test are asked from General Awareness, Arithmetic, and General Intelligence & Reasoning. The test carries a total of 120 marks. PET is qualifying in nature and candidates are given different tasks.
