When RPF SI application form 2024 was released?

RPF SI application form was released on April 15, 2024. The application form needs to be filled online only. The application fees are INR 500 for the Unreserved category, whereas, the other categories SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/Female will have to pay INR 250. The application amount is refunded by the MoR when the candidate appears for the RPF CBT exam (INR 400 is refunded for UR and INR 250 is refunded for the other categories excluding the banking charges).

What is RPF SI eligibility criteria?

RPF SI eligibility parameters are given by the examination authority. The age should be between 20 & 28 years. The qualification required is Graduation. Candidates must be physically fit to carry their duties.

When RPF SI exam will be conducted?

The RPF SI 2025 exam date will be announced soon. The RRB RPF SI CBE (computer based exam) is divided into three sections-Basic Arithmetics (35 questions, 35 marks), General Intelligence and Reasoning (35 questions, 35 marks), and General Awareness (50 questions, 50 marks). Candidates are allotted 1 hour and 30 minutes (90 minutes) to complete the entire exam. For correct answers, candidates score one mark. There is a negative marking penalty of 1/3 mark for every incorrect response. The total marks allotted to the exam are 120. The RPF SI 2024 exam was held on December 2, 3, 9, 12 and 13, 2024.

RPF SI Recruitment 2024: The Ministry of Railways conducts RPF SI recruitment to select eligible male and female candidates for Sub-Inspector posts in various zones of the Indian Railways and Railway Protection Special Forces (RPSF). RPF SI recruitment 2024 notification is available now. RPF SI recruitment process comprises several stages such as Computer-Based Test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & Physical Measurement Test (PMT), Document Verification (DV). Successful candidates of RPF SI CBT will be selected in level six of the seventh Pay Commission. RPF SI salary offered to the candidates is INR 35,400.

RPF SI Recruitment 2024 Vacancies

The vacancies are released as per the groups of zonal railways and RPSF. Candidates can apply against RPF SI vacancy of either a group of zonal railway of RPSF. Within a group of zonal railways, they are required to give their preference for individual zones. Candidates will be considered against the vacancies of that group only and allocated a zonal railway based on merit and preference. Candidates selected for the post are liable to serve anywhere in the country.

RPF SI Recruitment Salary and Training

Selected candidates will be offered a stipend of INR 35,400 as well as other allowances. They will have to undergo training in any one of RPF/RPSF training centre. Final allocation to the force will be done after passing the final examination.

RPF SI Recruitment Exam Pattern

The CBT of RPF SI will be conducted across cites in the country in 15 languages. The test will comprise 120 objective type questions from General Awareness, Arithmetic, General Intelligence & reasoning. The duration of test is 90 minutes. For the correct answers, candidates score one mark while 1/3 marks are deducted for the wrong answer. Candidates are required to obtain 35 per cent and SC and ST candidates are required to obtain 30 per cent. The PET & PMT comprises running, long jump and high jump, conducted separately for male and female candidates. This test is qualifying in nature.

RPF SI Recruitment 2024 Selection Process

RPF SI recruitment process comprises Computer Based Test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Document Verification (DV). Candidates 10 times the number of vacancies will be selected for PET and PMT. Based on the performance of candidates in the CBT and subject to their qualifying in PET and PMT, candidates will be called for Document Verification. Candidates selected for Document Verification are required to undergo a Medical Exam. Appointments of candidates will be done if they are found medically fit.
