What benefits are given to CCAAs trained in railway establishment for RRB Group D exam?

The CCAAs (Course Completed Act Apprentice) trained in railway establishment are given due weightage of marks obtained in National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT) for preparation of the final merit list. Such candidates are exempted from PET/PST. Railways will give one-third weightage to the NCVT marks in preparation of RRB Group D final merit list after the conduct of CBT. Earlier, CCAAs had to appear for PET and the final merit list was prepared based on the marks obtained in CBT and PET subject to qualifying the document verification. The official notice reads, “20 per cent of reservation in RRB Group D exam is given to CCAAs. In line with the provision contained under section 22 of Apprentice Act, CCAAs trained in the railway establishments may be given due weightage for the same such that one-third of the mark in preparation of the final merit list after the conduct of CBT shall be based on the marks obtained in their NCVT exam. They shall, however, be eligible for empanelment only after document verification and qualifying the medical standards. Overview

RRB Group D 2026: The Railway Recruitment Board is expected to release the RRB Group D exam date 2026 soon for CEN No. 09/2025 on the official website. Candidates who have applied for the Level 1 posts will be able to check the schedule of an exam, city slip, admit card details, etc. once it is released. A total of 22, 195 vacancies are announced through this recruitment drive. The application correction dates were March 12 to March 21. The last date to apply was March 9. The fee payment last date was March 11. The application process was started on January 31 along with the notification.

RRB Group D 2025 (08/2024)

The RRB Group D result for CEN NO. 08/2024 was delayed as the next hearing in the Telangana High Court is on June 25. Therefore, the result will be released after the final court decision. What is RRB Group D exam?

RRB Group D is a national-level exam conducted by the RRBs on behalf of the Railway Recruitment Cells (RRC). It is an excellent career opportunity after Class 10 who wish to join the Indian Railways. RRB Group D Exam Pattern

RRB Group D paper pattern is prescribed by RRBs. The test comprises CBT followed by PET/PST, DV and Medical Test. The CBT comprises four sections. Total marks allotted to the exam are 100.
